Seeing how the owner wants people to think I’m just out to ruin his business because I left an honest 2 star review about my family’s experience, I’m changing my rating to 4 stars so he can see that’s “absolutely” ridiculous. Like I said, it’s a decent arcade, brings back a lot of memories for GenX. However, the owner seems to only care about themselves, their “time”, their “feelings”, and made that crystal clear in his responses here.

No one is interested in hurting your business, even though it’s clear you couldn’t care less how you ruined our time. Not honestly surprised by this considering it’s the same attitude you showed my family who spent almost $100 in your arcade, that’s what’s “low”. You didn’t just ask for space, you were unnecessarily rude, and none of us recall you ever thanking us when we left. I was absolutely nowhere near you, several feet away actually, and didn’t even know about your comment to my brother-in-law until AFTER we left and we ALL shared our individual experiences with YOU. You gave me one of the dirtiest looks I’ve ever seen anyone give someone for simply making eye contact, it was borderline sinister, and yes, it creeped me out. No one looks like that at someone and expect they don’t take it personal. We all work for a living, that shouldn’t make you feel entitled to treat your customers like garbage and then take offense when you’re called out for it. This evening, I finally decided to check out an arcade I had been wanting to visit for a long time, located behind Braum's. Before heading in, I stopped at Braum's and purchased a double-dip waffle ice cream cone. I was already halfway through my treat when I entered the arcade to explore the place and get a membership. Upon entering, I was directed to check in at the bar. While I was in the process of doing so, the bartender, Summer, informed me that ice cream was not allowed inside the building. I asked her what I should do in that case. She repeated that ice cream was not permitted. I then suggested that I could sit at the bar to finish my ice cream before proceeding with the membership process. However, she repeated for a third time that ice cream was not allowed. I asked her once more for clarification, and she finally suggested that I should go outside to finish it. It would have made much more sense—and saved a lot of inconvenience—if she had informed me of this from the start. Her lifeless and unprofessional attitude, along with her lack of empathy for my situation, completely ruined my experience. I was disappointed by how the situation was handled and decided not to proceed with getting a membership or return to the venue in the future. This is one of the best and well kept arcades in the area, but it can be frustrating to have a "favorite machine" and end up traveling all the way out here only to find it's been rotated off the floor. I've only ever had one bad experience here over a year ago where one of the teenage female employees got upset with how I was playing a game. I wasn't being rough, destructive, or even disturbing, or damaging of the machine in any way. She just didn't approve of my method and got on to me about it. I just nope'd outta there for a full year. Sometimes other customers can also get kinda rowdy since they do serve alcohol here and being around drunk / intoxicated people in close proximity when I just wanna chill and play some games can be aggravating. Some of the custom cabinets can be confusing to use as they require special button inputs to change games or go into menus and there's no how-to's on the owners youtube channel or notes on the cabinets themselves.

But yeah, only thing keeping me from 5-staring this place is that one sour memory with the teenage employee and the drunkards at night.
