University Center — Attraction in Hammond

This was basically the Arena that Southeastern College uses in Hammond LA...it was a very joyful experience due to my daughter graduating from Slidell high....plenty of seating even tho I'm handicap...I didn't see much as far as that was available I wasn't really pursuing that either bc I was standing watching the graduation and I was happy and a very Proud Mother ..My daughter got a scholarship to the same college and when she stated she will be a Sophomore... Go My sweet beautiful girl ..my Hurricane Katrina baby..didn't do you wrong...broke the mold born in the most beautiful place...Natchez Ms that was definitely the silver lining and now you will be going for the GOLD in all you do...love u so much I am proud to have grown up...

It's a really nice, big place. We attended a graduation there. Everything went smoothly. The security there were very rude, however. As a person with a disability, it was awful to be refused to use the bathroom. Everyone went outside to welcome the graduates after the ceremony. I had an emergency and needed to get to the restroom and was rudely told that I wasn't allowed back inside. After showing proof of my disability they, again, rudely told me i should've gone to the bathroom before I left the building but they allowed me inside anyway, then while I was in the bathroom they yelled for me to hurry up multiple times. A place full of college spirit. They welcomed my daughter and her starstepper team for a week of fun filled events . On the hot days I went the air inside was really cold, which I loved, I thought a building that size what have been muggy feeling but it's obvious they invested well enough in their air conditioning system. The seats were comfortable and the view was great from every angle. The bathrooms were clean and updated. And the parking was well situated. See you guys...
