My brother in law moved up to Hanover a few years back, When we decided to drive up and visit him he took us to this shop, and I fell in love with it instantly. It does not have that air of pretentiousness that a whole lot of retro game stores do. Prices are very fair, a game in one section may be overpriced (but not by much) and a game over in another section is cheaper than online, It really balances itself out. I purchased A Sega Master System for $150 what a steal, and a very clean Snes for $100, the games are usually priced between $10 and $20 dollars a cartridge, compared to other shops that is great the pricing makes sense. Only downside is there are items on display but not for sale. Overall my collecting has become cheaper here than anywhere else I have been. Since I do not live in the area I often call my brother and get him to make a trip. Ill usually send him around $100 or so and I have not yet been unhappy with what that can buy. Great shop Good prices ...
Read moreVault Video Games is an absolute scam, and I can’t stress enough how terrible my experience was. Every single game I bought from them didn’t work—either they wouldn’t load, were corrupted, or just flat-out didn’t function at all. Naturally, I tried to return them, hoping for a refund, but that never happened. They took the games back, yet I never saw my money again.
To make matters worse, after the first round of faulty games, they convinced me to buy more, assuring me it was just a rare issue. Well, surprise—those were broken too! Once again, I returned them, thinking this time they’d make things right. But no, still no refund. I’m now out even more money and have nothing to show for it except frustration. Vault Video Games isn’t just selling faulty products; they’re trapping people in a vicious cycle of bad purchases with zero accountability. Total rip-off. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to throw...
Read moreThe store was very nice, however I picked out a game that I liked for the content and the price. I grabbed The Amazing Spiderman 2 for the PS3 and the second I got to the counter, the woman working upped the price that was listed by $15. She said that she was planning on raising the price of the game, but it does not make sense that she waits to do that until I am ready to check out. The game was clearly marked at its previous price with no indication of a change. If they plan to reprice a game they should take it off the floor. I did not purchase the game and I will not be going back...
