Lucky Spot — Restaurant in Hanover

I have absolutely zero clue how this place has the rating that it does. If I could rate this place as a negative, I absolutely would do so. We "ate" here about a week and a half ago, and it was by far the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant. We had to literally contue to snag our waitress down to get drinks/ refills although she would continually walk right past us and be attentive to her other tables. We had to track her down to order our food. We finally ordered, the food came out looking absolutely terrible, so bad to the point that my gf sent hers back (and I have never seen her do so one time). Our server asked her if she would like something else or needed a menu. My gf asked for a menu so she could decide what she would like to order in place of. Our server never brought a menu, avoided us at all costs, and not one single time asked my gf of she wanted anything else. When my gf called her out on that fact, she literally shrugged her shoulders up and said "hmmphh" with a snarky tone and smirk on her face. This place should be out of business, and will never see a single cent of mine again. Also, please not that the management was "kind enough" to remove my gfs meal from the check. My review has changed after first-hand seeing the disgusting practices in the kitchen. If they want to hide it, they need to cover up the window. Or, you know, hire people who aren't disgusting. Bare hands, wiping noses, switching from cleaning tasks to making food, touching raw eggs with no gloves then touching toast... I see another reviewer on here saw the same things. I can't go back after seeing what I saw. I liked the food, but I just can't do it.

Decided to go for breakfast since I've heard good things. Was not impressed. Décor is lacking, the business is run down and doesn't look appealing. Just looking at the place, it doesn't seem like a place I want to eat at. It appears dirty and dingy. Staff was far from friendly and felt abrasive when speaking with them. There was no sense of customer focus unless you're "a regular".

Ordered basic breakfast food, eggs (sunny side up), home fries, bacon, toast. It was bland and found a hair in my food, while chewing, immediately losing my appetite. The food was something I could have easily found somewhere else.

Prices are reasonable about the only positive I can think of. Overall I will not be returning...
