First rate facilities and acoustics are wonderful for both solo performances as well as ensembles. The Steinway piano that has the Bluestone motif on it is worth a look as well in the main area.
Students/staff are also very friendly and helpful which reflects wonderfully on the school.
Parking is nearby. Lots of students have their recitals/performances there for free as well if you just want to hear and watch how students improve their craft and ability over time.

Read moreThe JMU parking will give you a ticket even when you are a guest. The sign says commuter parking and faculty until 4pm. Do not be fooled. The brown shirts will give you a $100 ticket at 3:59pm of you do not have a permit. This is absolutely ridiculous when there are so many events that take place at this center, especially when there is a booth.
