Friday , Oct 23rd, 2015, it was bad experiences about reservation the room. We reserved a month ago and 24 people or more coming. We got the big room next to the bathroom and the room was settle. We put flower arrangements and cake. Perfect. The Blonde lady told me that it been changed an hour early and somebody got the room. I bet you they paid them extra bucks. Nobody told us and I was pissed. I mean I was pissed when I walked in the small room. The room was not settle. Nothing, I mean nothing. My friends and I had to rearraged the tables, chairs, etc. we also put down dishes, etc. They didn't do damn thing. The blonde lady was so rude and she doesn't seem to understand that as a mother of the groom wanted to make the night special for my son and future daughter in law PLUS our 33rd wedding anniversary. AND we paying this!!?!? This is something I am going to remember for the rest of my life. The food was fantastic! But I will never going back there again. People, please if you going to reserve the room, please get a paper and have that blonde lady sign it saying that you got that...

Their broccoli sesame chicken constantly comes out very sweet and not spicy at all. Last week when we came here, the 3 of us ordered broccoli sesame chicken, and I asked the waitress specifically to make sure it’s level 2 spicy. She assured me that that’s what the original is . She brought out our food and disappeared for 10-15 minutes . The chicken was not spicy at all, it was sweet as honey , when I told her that after she finally showed up. Her reply was “no, it’s spicy” , I told her she can try it, but it’s not spicy . To which she said “no it is spicy, but I can take it back and add red pepper to it” She didn’t even cook it so how would she know it’s spicy?! It’s gotten to a point where this is just redicilous , we constantly come here and that’s a constant problem with their supposedly spicy brocolli sesame chicken You need to get your stuff together at the kitchen & wait staff or list this as sweet chicken not spicy if you can’t...

I placed an order on Doordash for pickup and waited quite a bit for the order to be marked ready. I didn't want to bug them around the estimated pickup time because I was sure they were either busy or my order just wasn't ready yet, so I made the thoughtful decision to just wait until the order was marked as ready on the app so I wouldn't seem impatient. When I finally showed up after waiting a while I was blamed by who seemed to be the owner for being late. Said she thought I wasn't going to show up. Thankfully my food was still somewhat warm. The Pad See Ew didn't even have the right type of noodles 🙃. The lady was very rude and even when I thanked her in the end she said something along the lines of "you better be glad you showed up".

The funny thing is last time I ordered, my order was marked as ready on the app so I expected this experience to be the same. This restaurant needs to learn what the word...

Great atmosphere and super friendly staff! The food was quite tasty and flavorful. We opted for fried tofu for an appetizer, which was serve with a sweet chili sauce for dipping. For entrees, I got the Thai wonton soup and my fiance got the green chicken curry. Although the curry was more watery than we are used to, he asked for level 5 (the hottest) spice and it was excellent! The wonton soup was the best I've ever had, and I would return repeatedly just to eat that again. In fact, I've been thinking about it every since and wished I had more! We also had hot tea, which was delicious. We would definitely return!

Taste of Thai is my favorite restaurant in the Shenandoah Valley, hands down. There's so much to love about this restaurant! The food is incredible: I'd recommend the Tom Yum soup and the Thai Garden Rolls, if you want something light to start out. The Thai Curries here have very generous portions and are my go to for an entree. I'm also quite partial to Taste of Thai's Praram, which has this fantastic peanut/curry sauce that no other restaurant can quite replicate! Of course, the service and decor are both excellent. I go to this restaurant every time I'm in Harrisonburg, and literally recommend it for everyone!

Taste of Thai is a GEM, there is no doubt in our mind. Its always tricky when you go for Thai in a small town, but then there's the rare chance you discover a place like ToT. Their Green Curry was bursting with just the right amount of their fresh flavors, and the Pad Sie Eww was easily the best I ever had. The dough just had the right consistency and I urge you to have it fresh and not reheated the second day. I highly recommend the Praram Peanut Sauce dish which was perfect as well. 100% would come again if in Harrisburg, and we actually did the next day.
