My husband and I recently went on this cruise to see the seals on Monomy Island. The good part was that it was interesting seeing the seals. The bad part was that we spent an inordinate amount of time viewing the seals and thus had to rush back to the port to the great detriment of the passengers as they sped at a dangerously rapid pace against the waves, which presented a extremely jerky motion, banging people against the front of the ship, including myself who asked them to take it easy as we were visibly being thrown against the front wall of the catamaran. The only other option was for us to sit by the very back of the catamaran, I moved to the spot while the catamaran was in full motion, which had a flimsy rope, which did not appear safe as a ship could have buckled backwards where we could’ve fallen out. Despite our distress, they continued to go at a rapid pace where I needed to shield my head, my back and my neck to prevent any injuries. Definitely would not recommend this catamaran excursion unless you come on the catamaran with a multitude of padded...

Was really disappointed. Made sure an got there earlier so that our young kids could get a descent seat. Waited in the line that we were told to wait in, and just before boarding was told we would be loading from another location, of course the entire line rushed over and we ended up being the last to board (if you have young children you know it takes a hot minute to get them over there) We had to sit in the back next to where the netting to to get on and off the boat. I spent the entire time on eddge.

Recommendation - informing your paying customers the correct place to wait. Mistakes happen, I get it. Allow the people that get there earlier the same courtesy to be able to get on when they would have originally gotten on to avoid having small children seating near the rear end...

We really did enjoy our time on the boat. It was fun seeing sandbars etc. however, if you are thinking this trip will be about seeing seals - just want to let you know that in our experience that was not the case. All the seals we saw were in the water and we saw just an occasional head bobbing up. Our guide said “the seals are just now starting to come into the protected waters due to the tide - so that’s why there aren’t many here”. If that’s the case, why run the tour at that time? It also seemed like we didn’t really look for any once it was determined there weren’t many there, we just turned around. Again it wasn’t a bad experience and the boat was nice - but my daughter loves seals and was excited and we only got about 5 minutes of underwater seals out of the 90...

If you are looking for a 90 minute boat ride, this is for you. If you want only to see harbor seals, be aware we only saw their floating heads for barely 10 minutes before the captain drove away. The stock photos on the site are taken with a good zoom lens, you do not get that close to seals or the light house. The information provided was also lackluster. They told us about sharks eating the seals but didn't know how many a shark eats. This was Friday 6.28 at noon tour, perhaps other times are better. I didn't feel like it was worth $36, perhaps $25. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because I hope as a small business they will work to improve.

Had an excursion booked this weekend and it was incredible! We left the little marina on a boat with about 30 other seal freaks like ourselves and the captain plus tour guide gave us all a ton of information about the area, marina, local history in the span of the 75 four! After a little drive to Monomoy Bay, we came up around 50(?) sunbathing Gray Seals! They were so cute and fat, and how they plop around to find a new spot to sunbathe! We would love to come back just to get up close like today again in the future and not wanting to see any attacks but definitely have the off chance of seeing any sharks!

First time visiting Monomoy Bay and the area is beautiful. We were disappointed before we even left as the group was rudely scolded by Capt. Pete for waiting on the very long ramp leading to the dock. An attendant or simple signage of where to line up would've been helpful and prevented this very bad, first impression. Rest of the trip was enjoyable and we were able to catch a glimpse of some seals. Would've gladly given a better review (and gratuity) had Pete been more professional in speaking to his guests. The older gentleman working with him was much more personable and engaging.
