Wychmere Beach Club — Hotel in Harwich

Wychmere was the most gorgeous venue for our wedding this past August! Their new venue Dune had only been open for 3 weeks prior to our tour and my husband and I knew immediately it was the perfect venue for us! The rooftop view of the beach and ocean was breathtaking. The venue itself was spacious, stunning, coastal, bright and modern. It was exactly what we were looking for on our special day! Leading up to the wedding my husband and I were extremely impressed with the staff's professionalism. Erica was welcoming, kind, and informative during our tour and communication prior and after. Lindsay was who my husband and I worked with the year+ leading up to our wedding. She was incredible through it all and was on top of communication working with our planner and vendors! She also made sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day! We loved the process working with Wychmere from start to finish. The food at Wychmere was NEXT level. Our friends and family couldn't stop raving about it, I wish I had a Time Machine to go back to our wedding day AND the tasting just to have the food all over again! On our wedding day the entire staff went above and beyond for us and our guests. Janet was a joy who took care of me, my husband, and our bridal party. She was very sweet and brought my husband and I our cocktail hour apps + drinks to enjoy alone before entering the cocktail hour. I could go on and on about how incredible our wedding weekend was at Wychmere. Last but not least, our bridal party stayed in the Wychmere suites and the rooms were gorgeous and easy access to the venue. We worked with Susan who gave us tours of the rooms when we were figuring out where our guests would stay, she was very nice and helpful! The views were stunning. My husband and I got married in the harbor room this past October and it was truly the best choice we ever could’ve made! From our first visit to the Wychmere we were in love. The staff is so accommodating, the views are incredible and they are so good at what they do. Lindsay was our wedding coordinator and I can’t say enough about her. Lindsay was kind, professional and supportive. She gave me great advice and helped me make any decisions I struggled with. We were struggling with a scary illness in the family leading up to the wedding and Lindsay was so patient and flexible with me if I took longer to respond or had to reschedule an appointment last minute. Day of, Lindsay was there every step of the way, but we also had Janet there to help us as well. Between the two of these ladies, there was constantly someone in eyesight if we had any questions or needed anything. They kept us comfortable and on schedule, we felt so special. We were able to drop off all of our decor, signs, candles, vases etc the day before and could trust that everything would be exactly as we had planned. We were lucky enough to have amazing weather, the ceremony was on the lawn and everything was so beautifully arranged. The staff had trays of beer, champagne and signature cocktails ready to go for our guests so there was no waiting around or long bar lines. The food was incredible, our family and friends still rave about the lamb lollipops. The short rib was literally the best I’ve ever had. At the end of the night, staff quietly packed up all of our belongings into the family's cars while we got to enjoy ourselves. I know it is a privilege to be able to get married somewhere like the Wychmere, but I will say that it is worth every penny. Wychmere is hands down a dream venue and crew to work with. When we first toured Wychmere as a potential venue, we were greeted with champagne and treated like royalty the moment we walked through the door. Being the indecisive couple we tend to be, we had seen numerous venues, and this by far was the best. We knew almost immediately this was our venue! The level of spoiling never ended, Wychmere makes you feel incredibly valued and listened to. Working with Brooke is a true privilege, she is so organized, sweet, and thorough in every single last detail. You dream it and Brooke makes it happen! The minute we met Brooke at the tasting, we knew how lucky we were. Brooke made sure every menu selection, decor, timeline, and detail was exactly what we wanted. Brooke helped us unload our decor, helped ease all of our anxiety, and truly made our dream Wedding a reality! The staff were flawless, attentive, and made sure everyones needs were taken care of. Our VIP attendant Janet was truly one of the sweetest people I have ever met and made sure our VIPs felt extra special. She even created a moment for my husband and I to enjoy champagne and had one of every appetizer set aside for us, so that we could take a breathe before going back out to greet guests. The flow of the day was seamless and perfect in every single way, and we still to this day are receiving compliments on Wychmere Beach Club as a venue and the staff.
