Had a great time at the one year anniversary. The library is amazing and supper clean. Was able to talk with the commissioner who is just a doll... she's smart with a great personality. Also meet many other interesting people. Mary is super informative and greeted us right away she also directed us to Gretchen who gave us useful information. We also had the pleasure of meeting two gentleman from the cleaning staff that were warm and welcoming. We had a blast!

I started going to the Haverford Library back in September of 2011, and to me, it's the best library in all of Delaware County! The staff there is very friendly, professional, and helpful. I am also able to get on to the computers right away and get my two hours in as well. Unfortunately, I had to stop going there back in November of 2019.

On the day before Thanksgiving of 2019. I was taken by ambulance from my apartment in Upper Darby to Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital due to a painfully arthritic left leg that I developed that September. I was discharged from Fitz back on December 13, which was a unlucky Friday that year. I was then transferred over here to St. Francis Center For Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Darby further medical treatment and therapy, and I'm making tremendous progress here.

I wasn't able to go there for two years due to the pandemic and for limited mobility issues as well. Plus, all of the residents here, including myself, were not allowed to go outside of the facility except for medical appointments I really missed going there; especially on Saturday afternoons. However, back in October of 2021, St. Francis allowed the residents, including myself, to go outside for other reasons, as well as for medical appointments.

I thank God that I'm now able to go to the library, especially on Saturday afternoons. To me, it's my Saturday afternoon therapy. And I will still go there after I get out of St. Francis and into...

Won’t be coming back to this library again. Been trying out all local libraries to see which one has the best programs for my little ones. The lady who did story time (believe it was called books for babies) was very rude. She made a comment about my oldest son’s age stating that story time was for only for babies up to 18months. I nodded my head and said it’s age appropriate for him. My toddler just turned 24 months but is developing at a slower pace, was non verbal at the time and is super well behaved so it was what I believe to be perfect for him at the time not to mention I was also there for my youngest who is under 18mo. We did stay despite her not being warm and welcoming because it’s a lot getting both kids ready and out but we did leave right after. She also “sushed” the other kids a few times not in a polite way at all. Like come on these are babies. Overall, not a...

Honestly I’m just really confused about this renovation. $22 million gave us less books, less room, empty space, and a depressing colored library?? I’m also really confused about the gaming area, I think libraries are so important, especially now, to give opportunities to kids to learn and get off the screens so I don’t really see the benefit of flat screen TVs and gaming consoles. I remember when librarians would get upset at the kids using the computers to play games so I don’t know where this idea came from. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone pocketed some money because generally why did they need that...
