Four Birds Distilling Company — Local services in Haverford Township

The staff was friendly, but the wrong drinks kept coming out, all of the drinks (both free and paid) were watered down where even the ice was largely melted, some of the wrong entrees were brought out. 7 of the 8 entrees were good, but the pulled pork was dry. We waited 45 minutes for the drinks to come out for the half of the table that arrived later. They offered to remake a couple of items that never ended up coming out. With the amount that was wrong, one of the supposed comp items still showed up on the bill. We spent 2.5 hours there, and while full were largely dissatisfied with the drinks side of the distillery. The couple at the next table were there so long without being served that they left after half an hour unattended. We picked up their menus and glasses when the wind knocked them over close to street. It felt like a training day for the staff. There were apologies offered, but no solutions. Fantastic. Thoughtful, super tasty food, every bite, every sip. Great rub crust on the ribs with a delicious Molasses based sauce the collards were one of the best, even the cornbread was great. I tend to stay away from "cheese steaks" outside of the real thing. For example, the god-awful Kielbase thing at Gall & Co. My wife was going to get the Brisket Chees steak, I balked, but she got it anyway. It is freaking amazing....

We had the coffee-rubbed brisket sandwiches with homemade pickles, and fries with homemade spicy ketchup. YUM!!! The cocktails were also delicious (but be warned: they are strong!). The atmosphere is laid-back. The waitstaff were friendly, kind to my children, and patient with all of us (we were there with three generations of family). What a treat! We will...
