Evens and Oddities — Attraction in Haverhill

As you search "Oddity Stores", you may find a few however, they are not nearly as odd as this shop!! I enjoy things that most people have very little interest in so I dig this place. A few of us had heard about this place and we called and asked if they were open on a Holiday and said they were. We drove over an hour to arrive there and found a sign on the door stating they were closed for a Medical Reason. We were very bummed out, and my Buddy decided to call the number on the hand written sign. To our surprise, a Gentlemen told us hed be there in 5 minutes. Such a cool and interresting store. I'd been looking for a new oddities store since Five Hands Curiosity Shoppe in Salem Mass had closed, as well as another in Mildford I had frequented. Randomly found this store on facebook so I had to stop in. So much to look at inside, I had to make a couple loops because I'd always see something I'd missed. The owners father was working the day we came in, and he was so sweet, helpful, and kind. Immediately upon entering, he questioned "I hope you guys know what kind of store this is." I visited the shop today after a 2 hour drive and was super impressed by the selection of all different types of oddities and antiques. Taxidermy, wet specimens, bones, etc. Kyle was very friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent about his practices and sourcing. I was honestly very appreciative of his knowledge about each and every one of his piece. I didn't know if I was going to come home with a wet specimen, a skull, or whatnot but being able to ask and without hesitation know where the piece came from or what liquid the specimen is was very transparent to me.
