AVOID THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!! I don’t know how they have such large numbers of positive reviews. Based on our experience, these have to be fake or incentivized, or mostly for day trips.

We went for the manta ray night snorkel with them and had the worst experience. I have been to Hawaii islands a dozen times and have done tours with many companies, this company tour (run by Alexis and Parker) don’t care about customers. One of the members on our group got sick because of the float belt being too tight and swallowing saltwater. She was made to sit on the back corner of the boat and was sprayed continuously on the face. She was choking and wanted to move but Parker did not let her move to prevent boat getting dirty if she pukes. We told this to the boat driver Alexis, and she was even more rude and rather than apologizing said that she has one passenger falling sick every day and when made to sit in the back none of them complains. She also said that we were told in the beginning that back of the boat is the best place to sit if we do not feel good even if that is bad for us. She told us said that if they don’t make us sit in the back they will need to stop the boat if someone falls sick or the boat will get dirty. No apologies for the rude behavior that the entire 20 min ride back was miserable for the customer.

There are many other tour companies that have much shorter boat ride, bigger boats, and better customer service. AVOID this company. BTW, they do give free stuff for positive review.

UPDATE: PLEASE READ THEIR RESPONSE BELOW, IT WILL TELL YOU MORE ABOUT WHAT KIND OF COMPANY THEY ARE AND IF YOU WANT TO GO WITH THEM. Also, most other companies have a short boat ride so they don’t make a person seasick every day for 9 years (as...

My Wife, 5 yo Daughter and I went on the 8pm Manta Snorkel Charter with Kona Snorkel Trips. We flew over from Oahu for a long weekend with the night snorkel as our goal. From the booking to check in process we were well informed by their emails and Captain Alexis and Guide Ryan offered all the essential snorkel gear including wetsuit. My 5 yo is a solid snorkeler and has taken many boat trips in her life, including many at night. Unfortunately this night she was not so comfortable on the boat for the ride out. It was a little choppy but not rough by any means, but Ryan was so great with our daughter. Talking with her and taking her mind off the choppy ride. Once we arrived to the Manta site the Captain Alexis and crew gave us an informative briefing. We were in the water seeing mantas within minutes. Ryan was very attentive to our group and was constantly checking in with us and Elisabeth. Ryan was giving us fascinating information as we effortlessly watched the Mantas pass just inches below us feeding on the plankton. After about 5-10 minutes my daughter had enough and Ryan gave her and my wife a personal escort back to the boat. Once they returned to the boat early, Captain Alexis made sure they were well taken care of until the rest of us returned. I can not thank Captain Alexis, Guide Ryan and the other crew enough for providing such a great charter. They're a top notch experienced crew and made us feel safe while providing a great...

Alexis was our Captain, she rocks!!!

Loved our boat since our son is in the US Navy!!!

We did not see Mantas on our Tuesday night trip, which is VERY rare! It was still amazing!!! Shrimpees, little fishies, bigger fishies, and BRUCE did swim under us! That was cool finding out after, who Bruce really is!!! Lol!!! 🦈🦈🦈

Our female crew kicked BOOTY Tuesday night and then Alexis and Parker kicked it all over the place and knocked it OUT of the Ocean Sunday morning on our Captain Cook Snorkel trip!!!

I highly recommend this company for ALL snorkeling adventures!! Laid back, relaxed vibes, chill and friendly, easy to spend the day with, very knowledgeable about all our ocean creature friends AND the island history!!

I WILL BE BACK SOON friends, you brought IMMENSE JOY to my life!!! I could do these tours with you every day!!!

I would LOVE to be out with you on my healthy days (Leukemia Survivor/Stem Cell Transplant in 2014) if we can find a way to make that work for our lives!! Jason & I absolutely adore all of you!! Alexis- Best Captain EVER!!! Hugs y'all (adding our special Manta LESLIE that Alexis & Parker found for us Sunday - Mahalo) 💖 We saw turtles, beautiful fish, sea cucumbers, urchins and Parker brought the sea life to US for show & tell and we got to hold these amazing creatures!!! Do NOT touch the Manta Rays! Their only protection is their slime layer on their skin.... Touch the Manta... BACK...

We did the Pawai Bay snorkel on our second day in Hawaii. We all had an amazing trip, but it was a highlight for our son. Our 8-year-old had wanted to snorkel so badly, and Jeanette and Shari were incredibly patient and kind with a hyper little boy. Jeanette went out of her way to bring up things for him to see and made sure he was safe and having a blast. My husband didn't end up wanting to snorkel, but had a great time talking with Shari, who also gave him suggestions on where he could take us later to snorkel off the beach. We had such a a great time we booked my son and I on the manta trip. We called in to book and they were incredibly fast on returning our call and getting us on the boat the next night. Our son had wanted to snorkel with the rays since he heard about the trip, but we were worried he was too young and not a strong enough swimmer. Shari, Shaylee, and captain Alexis did an amazing job making sure he was safe and he got to see all the rays of his dreams. Shari stayed beside him the almost the whole time he was in the water and helped make sure he was also following the rules to keep the mantas safe. I know having a hyper kid on a trip is more work for the crew and I can't express how much I appreciate their patience and willingness to make this an incredible experience. Thank you!!!

Experience of a LIFETIME! I have to admit I was nervous. Upon arrival, our guides Parker and Faith, and our Captain, Amy, helped everyone get fitted for wetsuits, masks and flotation belts. Our belongings were kept safe at the dock and we were only allowed to bring towels and go-pro cameras on board. Parker briefed the group, explaining thoroughly exactly what we would expect once we were in the water. We took a 20-25 minute boat ride to a shallow cove where we saw other boats/tours snorkeling. This was comforting to me knowing we weren’t out in the middle of the ocean alone in the dark. For 30 minutes we hung onto the illuminated floating surfboard and watched in awe as TWELVE mantas danced in the sea below us. Some of the mantas came within inches of touching us! Parker and Faith joined us in the water to provide any assistance needed and even shared some knowledge about the mantas and their names! Once in the water, my nerves subsided and I have to admit I am SO glad I did this. There’s a reason this company has a 5-STAR RATING! This was an experience I’ll NEVER forget!
