After a long day of snorkeling and walking we were really looking forward to this massage and soak! Last time we were "on island" we tried to get an appointment and they kindly let us know they typically were booked a month or two in advance. So plan ahead! It is soooo with it!

The facilities are immaculate, intentional, and squeaky clean. The staff is attentive and authentically friendly.

We opted for the Twilight Couples Massage. We are lucky enough to have received several professional massages over the years and she said this was the best massage she has ever experienced and it was top 3 for me!

The private tubs are secluded and spacious. The jets and water temperature were perfect. I would recommend going around sunset so you can see this beautiful space in both daylight and the dark. Ending the evening with tiki torches and being serenaded by Coqui frogs was just perfect.

It is an immersive magical experience that we would highly highly recommend. It is an indulgence, but one we will absolutely be indulging in the next time we visit Hawaii!

TIP ON LOCATION: St. John's is a tight street that feels one way but is not. Go slow and be ready to share the road with cars approaching you . For the parking, go a little further than you think you have to go and it is...

My wife & I came to Hawai’i as many couples do, on their honeymoon. Our last night I wanted to do something special and unique so after dinner at the Kona Inn Restaurant (another awesome spot) we went here for a private, 90min hot tub experience under the stars. If you go at night, heads up that it’s a tad hard to find, but manageable.

When we got there we walked through a doorway into the secluded jungle that opened up to the front desk of this oasis on the island. Everything was dead quiet to let you enjoy the full effect of the sounds around you. The hot tubs are privately tucked back in a hut with the ceiling cut out so you can start gaze while you relax. Also, clothing is optional which was a really nice touch! They have a shower attached to the hut so you can cool off if you overheat, but also so you can shower afterwards with the soap they have provided. Overall for the price of $84, we were very happy with the experience! If you’re looking for a romantic and peaceful experience, I highly...

10 stars! Seriously the most beautiful spot. I called to book when they were closed, but left a message and the nicest woman rang me back a couple days later to set up an appointment. They happened to have an opening the next day, which was amazing. She let me know exactly what to expect for my entire time there, which is so nice for someone with anxiety like me! The hot tub was incredible. It's bathing suit optional, and so private (because of the amazing landscaping). I could have stayed in the hot tub for hours, listening to the sounds of the jungle. The roof of the hot tub enclosure is partially open, and partially covered. So if you want to sit in the sun, just move to the sunny spots!

The massage was amazing as well! I had a lomi lomi massage, which is a must if you've never had one!

Price was incredibly reasonable. I live in Seattle, and honestly any good massage here is going to cost far more than I paid at Mamalahoa. Definitely check this place out if you're on the...
