Turtle Beach, located in Hawaii, is an absolute must-visit destination, especially if you're on a Circle Island tour. This pristine beach offers a unique opportunity to witness the beauty of sea turtles while snorkeling in its crystal-clear waters.

The chance to encounter sea turtles in their natural habitat is a rare and awe-inspiring experience, and Turtle Beach does not disappoint in this regard. Snorkeling here provides an opportunity to witness these magnificent creatures up close, but it requires patience and skill as a swimmer. The reward of seeing the turtles gracefully gliding through the water makes the effort worthwhile.

The beach's location within proximity to expensive hotels adds to its appeal. It's a convenient spot for visitors to access, making it a perfect addition to an island tour. After an exciting snorkeling adventure, you can unwind at the nice cafe bar next to the beach, enjoying refreshments and soaking in the beautiful surroundings.

In conclusion, Turtle Beach is a captivating and essential stop on a Circle Island tour in Hawaii. It offers the chance to swim alongside sea turtles, making it a unique and memorable experience for nature enthusiasts. While patience and swimming skills are required, the reward is an unforgettable encounter with these majestic creatures in a stunning...

White sand beach great for swimming and take the kids to enjoy the waters. There are plenty of coral reefs and lots of fish to look at however the area has really strong currents and therefore need to be very careful if you’re not a great swimmer. I did not get a chance to see any turtles in this area as they tend to stay away in the far off semi little island or rolling hill in the distance about 3000 feet away lol. This beach is shared with a hotel and have cabanas to rent and other swimming gear. The bathrooms are filthy dirty and limited to only one stall lol. The outside showers are attached to a tree and the water is super cold but they have lots of water pressure and this is the best shower in the entire island lol. There’s a grassy area you can clean up before heading back to the car. The site is very nice and easy to get to just be careful where you park as some spots are for the hotel and the unnumbered area is for open parking and pay so you don’t get towed. If you don’t want to be in this beach you can always park on the main road and go to the beach not to far from here you might see turtles there called PahiPahi and remember sun block as...

IMPORTANT! As a local here I will share with everyone reading this something tour companies wont tell you. The traffic here sucks, expect to sit in your car for about 60 minutes to travel 15 miles. More importantly as more and more tourists come to visit the added foot and vehicle traffic is wearing down our roads faster and faster. If you visit you'll discover the roads in the north shore are already terrible and full of potholes and cracks the added traffic is causing the roads to erode into the sea faster too. Additionally the amount of people constantly walking on the reef and getting suntan and sunscreen lotions in the water is making the water murky and have a slightly oily film to it which is killing the reef and causing less and less fish to go to parts of the beach and its changing the eco system that and most importantly not as many turtles are coming around to turtle beach. All this plus the aforementioned traffic is causing more and more locals to get frustrated and hostile to visitors not to mention all the food trucks and illegal AirBnB that are...

We found this during my research of beaches to stop at on a drive around the island. It is located in the turtle bay resort, although the beach is open to the public. You do have to drive all the way through the resort to the back, just follow the signs for beach access. Then you will end up at the parking lot. It is a very large parking lot, but it was basically full when we arrived so we had to loop for a tiny bit for someone to leave to get a spot, but we arrived mid afternoon. There are restrooms and outdoor showers accessible by the beach. In the cove, there are views of the resort and of the rocks nearby. There is the bay by the resort, or you can keep walking past to a beach around the corner. There were plenty of people here enjoying their beach day. The sand is that coarse shell sand, so it isn’t soft. We thought there would be turtles but we didn’t see any. We walked around a little, and then we were off to our next stop. For us, there isn’t really a reason why you would stop here over other beaches.

This is a nice beach with good snorkeling, although it’s not a secret as there were many in the water partaking in this activity. This beach is next to the upscale Turtle Resort. As it pertains to all beaches in Oahu, public access is available to the beach. There is a restaurant a stones throw away from the beach, although be mindful of their hours of operation based on the season visiting. Much of the parking is reserved for what I assume is the resort, although there are many stalls for public parking, but coming early would be of benefit as it does fill up. If you’re interested, there are some small trails around the north bend and lead out to rocks to watch crashing waves. We were lucky enough to spot a mother and baby whale jumping in the distance, (see if you can spot it in my photos). North of this area a bit further on the walk you may be able to watch surfers catch waves of the day.
