Regardless, Billy's Midway is an excellent arcade, and deserves your patronage. The location is clean, fun, and affordable and is up there with the ranks of Silverball and other vintage arcades. I'm looking forward to being comfortable visiting the location again, and I hope that everyone checking these reviews takes all stories with a grain of salt and endeavours to see all sides of a story.

Unlike the single star reviews without any text, I specifically took the time to break down my reasoning and provide the business owner the opportunity to respond and I have corrected my review to reflect the new information. Everyone deserves a second chance and the opportunity to defend themselves.

Having visited this arcade a few years ago I have been considering returning. I was very disheartened to see that the owner elected to refuse employment for a trans individual based on the idea that customers may say something. That risk comes with any employee; no matter your race, creed, or gender, an employee's responsibility is to work and customers being a disruption based on one reason or another will forever be a constant, but refusing to take the opportunity to learn and welcome an employee whom you have yet to even evaluate the skill of is wrong. The only factor that should be considered is a prospective employee's ability to perform the functions of the job.

Hi, I’m billy, just not the one from the arcade. I have been here a few times now, and have always thoroughly enjoyed this arcade. Everything is set to free play, and a day pass is only $30! They have half hour and hourly passes available as well.

Pinball machines vary in condition from rough to great, though everything plays 100% amazing. You catch your quirk here and there just like you will with every pinball machine, but overall these machines perform far above average in comparison to the bulk of what you will find available for public use.

I appreciate the inclusion of several very old, electro mechanical pinball machines. This place is almost like a museum in many ways, showing how pinball has evolved over the years.

There is a large selection of arcade cabinet video games as well, though this isn’t really my flavor so I can’t speak to how these perform. Tron was super hard, having never played the game before!

Billy is always around, and ready to fix any issues that may arise on the spot. I was very impressed when he popped the hood of the future spa to fix a flipper right in front of me!

Something kind of cool is his minimal use of LEDs in the pinball machines. There is no light flicker, and the machines are not blindingly bright like many modern machines are.

I had the opportunity to talk with Billy a good bit. He is super personable, and ready to share stories of arcade experiences and his past life as a railroader!

I have traveled an hour and a half each way from New York City several times for this place, and will continue to do so. You can’t find a better value for your money, nor a collection of machines in this good of a state of repair anywhere locally.
