Diamond Liquors & Tavern — Attraction in Hawthorne

Overpriced.

Every time I park in town there's someone standing in front of the big no smoking sign on the door, puffing away, comfortably accommodated by the convenient smoking pole next to the door. It means my baby gets secondhand smoke, and I have an asthma attack and can't take care of her.

If Borough Council really wants to clean up and revitalize downtown so that businesses thrive, they should start here.

This liquor store is deceptively well-stocked. Looks like any other small neighborhood shop on the outside, but inside, I'm always impressed by the wide selection of beers and wines. I especially love beer, and the wall of single bottle options in the back is like a wonderland. They also let you split packs, so if you just want to try a bunch of new beers, it's a great place to do it. Friendly service, too. I haven't checked out the liquor section much, but I would assume there are some gems...

Terrible service and the owner of the store is disrespectful. They was discriminating me while I was give them my ID and telling me it’s fake. I am up of age and They also said you must be from Jersey to be able to buy alcohol and I found that bizarre. Never in my years of purchasing alcohol I had came across someone saying that to me.
