Hayward Cinema Four — Attraction in Hayward

First off I don't understand why people praise this theater giving it 4-5 stars.

The employees and staff are fine I have no problem with them. (+1 Star)

Movie Theater Snacks are pricy but that's nothing new, no reason to complain about it. Perfectly understandable.

The real problem is that I went to go see the Godzilla King of Monsters Movie in 2019. Saw it for a reasonable price, the true problem is that I could literally hear John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum through the walls as the Godzilla Movie was playing.

Imagine the many Godzilla Fight scenes being overlapped by Gunfire Spam coming from a different movie next door. While I did love the movie, the Immersion of enjoying it was in and out.

The theater should test two movies being played at once before actually charging tickets for it. Because my experience was kind of ruined. It certainly doesn't feel very professional to have two movies being played at the same time knowing that there is the likely hood of hearing the second movie being heard through the walls. I don't even know if it's even worth giving them another chance as much as I do prefer to support movie theaters for nostalgia.

Another suggestion is space out the movies time slots so two movies don't overlap. Or at least have one movie play in one room and another movie play as far away from eachother to reduce the overlapping.

We want a good movie experience. Focus on Quality not Quantity.

Suggestion to customer. I'd call in advance try to find a showing where there isn't another movie playing at the same time as the movie you're going to see. Otherwise expect the same...

7/24/25 6:30 movies Do not come here : staff is rude, unkind , will not let speak. Went to inform staff, of an Unsafe situation.Two adults were screaming at each other during the movies. when I went to inform the staff member with tattoos, about the situation for him to not letting me finishing speaking . Was very short toned and unfriendly . Saying “no one is supposed to be on their phones” , than said my children , weren’t supposed to be alone - my children are adults , I only paid for them. nor were we the ones in confrontation. I was trying to inform staff of an unsafe situation: Will not return, staff was unfriendly and rude , and the movies theaters was unsafe as adults were allowed to yell at...

I've been here before and never had a problem I loved it,won't let this one bad experience change me from going their again though. Me, my mom, my son and best friend went to see IT. 1st the movie theater wasn't open when it was supposed to be, he was late opening the theater. Then agreed sitting threw all the previews the guy tells us everyone was in the wrong room to where the movie was playing and it started already. So then we had to get all our popcorn, drinks, whatever we had n go to the right room to where IT was playing. At least he was nice enough to restart...
