I came to the market this morning and met a friend. Between the two of us, we purchased from 4-5 vendors. All of the vendors were so nice and they were separated by tape. It was easy to get items without touching them since the vendors had done such a good job of placing and showing the different produce. I forgot the local coffee vendor's name but I got the abuelita's mocha with a medium roast - so flavorful! And we got samosa chaat - always a win! It was a good, fruitful (pun intended) trip.

One of the best in the area. Plenty of parking in the parking structure next to the market. Very good variety of vendors. Fruits, vegetables, berries, honey, mushrooms, breads and cheeses. And they bring in fun entertainment too. Farm products from California Central Valley, Monterey coast, Sonoma/Sebastopol and local growers too.

I only stopped by because I smelled the food...lol. Nice setup of vendor booths with mostly fresh veggies and fruit, not too many artisan booths, I think just one. I had a nice time and did not leave empty handed! I scored some delicious red and black beans with yams tamales and a super cute butterfly 🦋 necklace.

I love Hayward farmers. I used to go every Saturday mornings but have gotten busy during the holidays. A year or so ago the fruits/veggies were super affordable e.g. $2 for Chinese broccoli, lettuce etc... but recently prices have gone up with inflation. I still think some veggies/fruits are much better price than going to grocery store and much fresher. E.g. Thai basil bunch during peak season is $2 and it comes with tons and tons of basil. I can never finish them all so I share with family. You'll find hard to find Asian produce such as Thai eggplant, variety of basil, different types of mushrooms, etc. The vendors are super friendly as well. Parking is via street or in the parking garage which is right on farmer's market. I do miss the flower vendor that used to be here - they probably found another more lucrative location. Otherwise, great farmers with fresh produce and...

Good food vendors with vegan choices! Had a vegan tamale that was awesome! Good selection of fruits and veggies - especially if you like ethnic cooking! Later in the morning, many vendors lower their prices to move their merchandise. Plenty of parking in the lot across from Hayward City Hall. UPDATE: many of the vegetarian prepared food vendors have left. UPDATE 2: Not as many prepared food vendors now and even fewer prepared pescatarian options. Still a good stroll on Saturday mornings - and because there are other restaurants and coffee shops in the area, you can always find food and...

This is my go-to market on a Saturday for fresh veggies. All vendors are very friendly and helpful. Today a bunch of beets and one cauliflower cost me $10. Beets were $4 and the cauliflower was $3.50🤷‍♀️. She seemed more interested in the bags I was carrying. She asked me twice if I wanted to pay for those goods, and twice I said it was mine. I purchased it from other vendors. Everything seemed to be priced around $4 a bunch. I go there to pick up wild honey for $13 a jar. This is a very small market with mostly fruit...
