Urban Indigo Art and Design — Attraction in Hayward

I came in the store today to shop (African American) for one was not greeted by the white woman behind the counter and it’s not the first time. The lady behind the counter stared ringing up a customer ahead of me I stood there waiting patiently myself and a male customer, when in walked a customer describing wanting to do a return. They lady behind the counter called for help and by passed the gentleman and I and told her colleague to help the customer with the return. Immediately I said we were next and with an attitude the employee came over to me with a nasty attitude, by this time I was done and refused to spend my hard earned money there, so I walked out. I will never, I repeat never shop there again...blatant...

Love this place. They have ton of cool stuff for all kinds of events and ages: birthdays, anniversaries, house warming gifts, christmas gifts etc etc. Fun store and friendly staff. It's cool they give you a stamp for every 10$ spent which is cool cause I already have had 30$ off worth of stamps :)

Cheeseboards, kids games, shot glasses, coasters, candles, cutting boards and my favorite Budha Painting are some of my usual pick ups!

This is a small store that carries a great variety of imaginative and often beautiful small items that make wonderful presents, to other people as well as to one's self. I stop by often and buy immediately when I see it, as items don't necessarily return once they are gone.
