I will remember how my shady perch 'neath the trees raised my spiritual vibration as I took in the greenery, the differently abled play spaces & features, the children's laughter, the anxious, watchful parents... while I was sitting down on a square bench fronting an adult-level table made of sturdy yet biodegradable materials... with crunchy, soft, non-soil beneath me... talking on the phone (oh the irony) with my spiritual mentor to order online from her gift shop all the way in Angel Light Books in Berkeley, CA.
The point being: ๐ If you're in this wonderful, natural setting, you don't have to venture far to do your online ordering ๐ . Satisfy your mind, body, and soul, here. This playground IS your inner child's one-stop-shop. See the tree ๐ณ, how big it grows, honey, but it doesn't have to have a sad ending. Mind the trees & thank them for sheltering us. ย ย ย Read moreThe park is situated in a nice neighborhood. Parking was difficult. The playground itself is fenced and well maintained. The various play areas are themed and seamlessly join each other with cushioned pathways. There is plenty of play equipment for kids ( 2-12 yrs) of all abilities. I was very disappointed that they allowed a small electric mini bike and an electric scooter ( stand-up with a handlebar ) to ZOOM through the playground on the pathways, weaving around small children and parents. We were there on a Saturday, and it was busy, not to mention it also was the day they had 25+ volunteers there doing landscaping. It was a bit chaotic, especially with the 'step/ walk-on-piano' rapidly repeating a single note although no one was near it. Next to the playground, it appears they are creating a dirt bike track. Very cool looking...
ย ย ย Read moreThis park is totally AWESOME! Recently re-opened back to the public (semi) post Covid. This park is a kids dream playground! It has so many different play areas they have an in ground trampoline, rock climbing, mini fire truck, a rubber grass covered hill to roll down on, a plane with swings, even a whale & boat that mists water to keep you cool...and that's only to name a few! Its safely gated so parents can worry less about their kids running off into the streets. The downside is there's not much parking. You'd have to park on the street...so if you're not so lucky you might have to take a short walk to get to the park which could be a little stressful if you have more than 1 kid with you (it was for me anyway). Other than that its a great park that your kids will definitely enjoy. They also have a skate park...
