Hair Philosophy — Attraction in Hazlet Township

Horrible Experience! I went in to have my rent human hair extentions that's had grown out , taken out and put back in as well as have roots dyed to match rest of hair. Not only were my roots orangey instead of ash brown but within the first week I lost 3 extentions and another 5 following week. I let my stylist Monique know what kind of extentions I had so that she could order that right tape but she didn't. To cut corners and save money I'm assuming she used tape she already had. I'm guessing this is why they fell out. Well I called right away when first lost some but was only able to get an appointment two weeks after original job. I came in with hair and explained what happened. She put 5 of them back in but to my surprise had the nerve to charge me $50! That on top of the $400 I had already spent the first time. Mind you they are supposed to last two months before having any fall out which means this was a result of not being done correctly. So now I took off of work n drove half hr to get something redone that I shouldn't have had to do if it was done correctly, but to make matters worse when I got home I realized she didn't put them in same spot or trim the ends so I was walking around with random longer pieces of hair. It looked ridiculous. I now had to drive all the way back and the owner was there. I explained what happened and she said she had to call her partner. She then said the haircut was on her !!! Is that a joke! Since when does a stylist not stand behind her work and how am I not reimbursed if for nothing else at least the $50. I'm sure the rest of my extentions will fall out within next couple weeks. DO NOT go here for extentions and based on customer service received by owner...

I found this salon on Groupon because I didn't want to spend a lot of money for a haircut. So I saw this $30 coupon on Groupon for cut, condition and blow. I called same day (which was this past Saturday). Shop was extremely busy so I waited a little bit which was to be expected being they accommodated me last minute. Diana (one of the owners) cut my hair. She did a great job and the staff was very nice. My hair is very thin and has some cowlicks so she doesn't know my hair yet and it was understandable that she tried blowing it out my way. So, I wasn't happy with the blowout but when i washed it today and blew it out, it looks great!! Definitely going back, just wish their prices weren't so high. Normally they charge 25+ for just cut (no blow dry) and another 25+ to blow. So it will be a lot more than I paid the other day. I don't have much hair, it's very fine and a little above shoulders so the only thing that will hold me back...

Been going to this place for years for cuts, highlights, glaze etc. Paid $500 for Magic sleek 7 weeks ago which I was told will last 12 months. After the first wash my hair got some curl back and I went to the salon to show them. Hair kept getting curlier after every wash and I told them they need to make it right. Owner said okay, come back for another treatment. After the treatment she asked me to pay another $175!!! Didn’t mention ONCE before the treatment that I would have to pay again. Told the hair stylist in front of me, that she wouldn’t get paid anything for the time she spent on my hair. It was the product that didn’t work. Not only unfair, but dishonest.
