Carvel — Restaurant in Hazlet Township

So I went into this Carvel’s to buy a cake . I picked one out that I liked and the price was decent for an ice cream cake . Well when I got to the register the person behind the counter says that’s not the price ?? What .. well I was totally confused why have an item priced at a store then tell the customer “that’s not the price “ then not try to make the customer happy … that’s totally unprofessional and unacceptable . Then when she told me the real price it was double of what was labeled like huh wow!!!! That’s Horrible for business let me just say I will definitely stay away from this place and let others know to do so as well . What happened to making customers happy though ? Guess that doesn’t exist in most establishments these days . I will stick to the places with the awesome service and great products. The items at Carvel aren’t even up to par to what they used to be anymore like back in the day . My advice is go to another store like Walmart or Costco the cakes are cheaper , very good ,and the service is a little better than...

Terrible service you need to educate the children you have working better. You guys have TWO different orange surberts one is tangerine flavored (which I don’t like) and one is regular which I do like. The girls behind the counter always mess things up once awhile they’ll give me the right one otherwise they’ll look at me like I have five heads when it’s them who clearly don’t know the difference between the ice creams they serve. SUPER disappointed & will no longer be coming here as everytime I do it’s just a mess. Smh. Stop hiring clueless kids...

Terrible staff. Went there at 9, they close at 9:30 and both counter girls rushed me as if they wanted me to hurry up and get out. Getting ice cream is not something I all the time, and is meant to be an enjoyable and relaxing activity.
