Making an appointment to sit down and taste at Ramey Wine Cellars was one of the best things we did this year, resulting in the highlight of all of our winery visits to Napa and Sonoma Counties. Alan Ramey took time out of his schedule to discuss the distinct vineyard terroir and wine-making techniques that result in award-winning wines for this small family-owned winery. (Recently a wine from Sidebar Cellars, a Ramey Wine Cellars project, was recognized among Wine Spectator Magazine's Top 100 wines of 2017.)
