Emmitt Scorcone Winegrowers is a hidden gem along the Russian River in Healdburg. Their wines came highly recommended from someone we know that recommended that we check them out. We are so glad we did because all of their wines were phenomenal!
The owners/winemakers have two labels that we sipped from during our wine tasting. The Judge Palmer label is known for their incredible Cabernet Sauvingnon. They have other common varietals such as Chardonnay and Cab Franc that were incredible as well. The Domenica Amato label features Grenache and other unique Rhone varietals, which were amazing as well!
We were hosted by Palmer, which made us feel welcomed and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and their incredible wines! We enjoyed sipping wine surrrounded by stacked oak barrels and loved the relaxed and rustic feel to this place!
We look forward to coming back when Chef Mateo is there to try their food and wine pairings because we have heard such great things about his food! Highly recommend making a reservation to sip their incredible wines when in wine country and taking some of your favorites...

Palmer and Michael put on a great show of out of the box winemaking in an idyllic setting in the Sonoma Countryside. Great expressions of varietals such as Grenache Blanc, Roussean, Viongnier along with classics such as CabSav and SavBlanc show the deft skill and knowledge of the team. The hand made touches of the winemakers are highlighted with some interesting takes on the process and the style of their wines. This domaine is a Beautiful hidden gem, where Michael, owner/host, introduced us to some of the best ORGANIC wines in the Sonoma region.
All Carefully hand-crafted and produced in limited quantities for a few lucky ones, who enjoy the uniqueness of single-grape wines (i.e. grenache) , or the traditional full-bodied bordeaux blends and subtle crisp whites … A truly remarkable and unforgettable experience …. Grazie...
