Heath City Water Park — Attraction in Heath

Only time I've ever been here, I was working as the Youth Rec. coordinator for a summer program. Was there for a few hours until, one lifeguard didn't get the memo, I work with disabled children. We went from the pool, to the lazy river, and back again several times.

The particular young girl I was watching closely that day was very young, black, and severely handicapped. She had on a little pink life jacket, as she was only 6 and still couldn't swim.

Me, trying to nicely remind the lifeguard she really needs it, I get pulled out of the pool. I'm sure you remember me, I was heavily tattooed.

I can't remember why I didn't write this sooner, but here we are getting ready to plan another trip to Cosi, The Flight musiam, and swimming again. I scrolled by this and had to say something.

We went for the first time and loved it! We've avoided zoombezi bay because we didn't want to pay those prices just to be stuck in the kid section, but here the cost is reasonable and there's plenty for the kids and adults to do. The more grown up slides/diving board are also close enough it's not a big deal to let bigger kids to run off and have fun for a few minutes.

My only complaint about the entire facility are the bathrooms. While they are very clean and spacious it's a bit weird that the bathroom doors don't shut flush to the frame and there are no locks. They're also shut by default so you have to rely on others to knock first if you want privacy. Other than that one strange thing this has been the best pool/water attraction we've been...

This is an extremely nice pool and they have a wide variety of things to do for different ages. They have high slides that my 10 and 11-year-old grandsons loved . They also have a big toy similar to the one at Zoombezi bay With the huge bucket that fills and then dumps of course they love that. They have a baby pool of course and then they have a little bit larger 3 foot deep for younger kids that is a very good size in case it’s busy. And then they have a diving tank for two different size diving boards. They also have a snack bar, And a nice lounging area with big umbrellas big enough for the family.
