We just stopped through here on a whim. We looked up in Google to find things to do near us and we found this place. Little small museum with a lot of history tucked inside. If you're a fan of the old and Dusty is great place to come explore. We met a guy named Kevin who was the museum attendant and he was awesome. Very energetic very knowledgeable and you can tell he was passionate about history in this area. It is a donation recommended place and it's nice to leave a few bucks if you can to support the history conservation. Go check it out. @RoarksVentures passed through while camping in Idyllwild. Great little spot to spend a half our to an hour getting getting...

A very nice museum for its size. It is small but they make very good use of the space that they have. The docent was eager to talk about Hemet’s history and had a genuine interest in it. He was very knowledgeable and he also grew up in this area. There isn’t an admission fee but donations are appreciated. There are exhibits about paleontology, the old train line and railroad, the Native Americans, the orchards and produce grown in the past, and old Hemet life. It was a fun experience. Expect to spend about a...

Small cool history museum in Hemet. A volunteer tour guide explained the exhibits. Exhibit includes a bike, books, maps, rocks, and more. Museum has exhibits from late 19th century and early 20th century. It’s great for learning more about the Hemet area. Museum is small. You might finish in 15 minutes (30+ minutes recommended). Museum is near shops in downtown area.

The museum had a lot of things that our ancestors used years ago. The displays are well thought out, the displays are just wonderful and the docent is very well informed of the people who founded Hemet and all the displays. ….Im so glad that there are people like him who keep these wonderful time pieces open so that we never forget where we came from.
