We just stopped through here on a whim. We looked up in Google to find things to do near us and we found this place. Little small museum with a lot of history tucked inside. If you're a fan of the old and Dusty is great place to come explore. We met a guy named Kevin who was the museum attendant and he was awesome. Very energetic very knowledgeable and you can tell he was passionate about history in this area. It is a donation recommended place and it's nice to leave a few bucks if you can to support the history conservation. Go check it out. @RoarksVentures passed through while camping in Idyllwild. Read moreA very nice museum for its size. It is small but they make very good use of the space that they have. The docent was eager to talk about Hemet’s history and had a genuine interest in it. He was very knowledgeable and he also grew up in this area. There isn’t an admission fee but donations are appreciated. There are exhibits about paleontology, the old train line and railroad, the Native Americans, the orchards and produce grown in the past, and old Hemet life. It was a fun experience.
