District Floor Depot — Attraction in Herndon

I spoke with a few of the sales reps over the phone at District Floor Depot in Herndon, but the person who really jumped in and helped me the most was Yusuf Mehmetoglu. His quick action and diligence saved me from a costly flooring issue and a lot of frustration to replace a small area of floor in my dining room.

I initially contacted a company called Triangulo, who manufactured my Tigerwood exotic flooring about 5 years ago. I spoke to Mara, a senior sales associate, to see if they had any flooring available which I couldn't find anywhere else in the size I needed to fix a 4 x 4 area in my dining room. Triangulo works with companies like District Floor and doesn't do direct sales but she told me they had 3 boxes left in their warehouse and to contact Yusuf at District Floor Depot and he could order them. I called him and told him Mara referred me and I needed to order the very last 3 boxes of Tigerwood flooring right away before someone else got them. He placed the order immediately that day. I was so happy because my size is almost non-existent. The next morning, I got a call from Mara of Triangulo. She was very apologetic and said the last 3 boxes had been sold to someone else before the order went through but that she already contacted Yusuf and he would call other companies to see if he could locate the flooring. He did and he found it that afternoon! It blew me away that anyone in sales these days worked so diligently and was so professional. Not only did Yusuf find the floor, but it was locally in stock and I got it within 2 days. Amazing! I was so impressed I had to write a review. Many thanks to District Floor Depot in Herndon! ...

DFD was really easy to work with: we got quotes for a small kitchen flooring project from a few companies, and DFD was the only one that gave us an itemized and clear quote. They were very responsive via text and phone, and made the choice easy to go with them. They had great, high quality selection of flooring products which made our decision-making a lot simpler. Once the project was underway, the crew was timely and worked very efficiently. When issues arose during the day (flooring boxes did not perfectly match, deciding mid-way through to adjust how much of the old flooring we would remove) they were communicative and explained what was happening, and I even got calls from the store to offer to answer any further questions in real time. Solutions were given with expert reasoning, new flooring boxes arrived quickly, and overall we were very pleased with the whole process. District Floor Depot is the only place I would definitely recommend. When we decided to renovate our kitchen, I also wanted to get our living room and family room’s floor done with a new hardwood floor. We shopped around and finally found District Floor Depot, beside they have a lot of variety quality floors with a reasonable price but their customer service is outstanding, from Yusuf, Tyran, Jose, Anna and Natalie, they’re all very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. When we requested in between the hardwood floor and the kitchen floor meet with no gaps and no transition pieces, they made it happen and the job was done beautifully.
