My family loves this park and frequent it often, but it's been about 2 weeks since I've last been and the last time we went it was taken over by older dudes on skateboards which wouldn't be an issue if they weren't trashing the place. Went today and saw that the issue only worsened because some of the bricks around the fountain areas had been broken and thrown in the water... a few homeless who were obviously under the influence were now camping out near the stage area, one having a melt down in the grass... trash is beginning to pile up in the water... people not picking up after their dogs...I know it has nothing to do with the city itself, but rather the visitors, which is a real shame because I saw this park as a safe place to visit. It would be nice if the city would hire some security, I know plenty of people seeking employment, so why not kill 2 birds with one stone? Additionally, it would be awesome if the playground was more friendly for all ages of kids, and a lot larger considering the amount...

Went to City Hall for the monthly meeting. Council members were great, very empathetic to public issue's and complaints, they listened to everyone's concerns & discussed. Only issue, i had was the lack of security. Plenty of Officers about, however they paid little attention to me coming in with a big backpack. No one checked or paid attention to people entering the bldg., ...this was an open meeting, i could have had an explosive or anything, but no one even looked my way. In these crazy times, more attention should be made to protect City Council members & the Officer's, Fire Chief's & public in general attending meetings, tempers can flare...

I really enjoy shopping at the Farmer's Market. You'll find Healthy Tasty Produce, Home Preserves, Baked Goods: breads, pastries. Try the long purple grapes that look like miniature cucumbers, delicious. I'm grapeful they sell them. Hah. There is a multitude of Vendors selling their arts and crafts that would make perfect gifts for any occasion and items that you may not find in the commercial world. Give it a go if you haven't attended. The atmosphere is pleasant with a bit of approaching Halloween Chill and always protection provided by the local law enforcement. Don't forget to Howl at the Moon, get...

Great place to take your kids to walk or ride a bike, my first time there with my 5 and 2 years old, my brother lives close by, so we were visiting, the only bad thing about it, it's the big dogs, people use the park to walk their dogs and my son was riding his bike, suddenly I saw him walking, he was getting away from a big dog while it's owner was using both hands on a mobil, not enough play things, just a rock wall and some kind of a net. The water fountains and the world are good additions. Don't know if weekdays you can use it to ride a bike. If you get bored, there is a cinema on the same lot.

Thank you Hesperia for putting a great National police Day My Daughter and 3 grandkids went . They loved it. I think my favorite were the Search and rescue dogs and the Star Wars troopers. The kids loved the Bounce house, and face painting, and the search and rescue dogs. Then a Fireman that taught the kids all about the fire truck was so great with the kids. All the police, Sheriff, Highway patrol, firemen were also great to see them walking around. Thank you for a great day with my Grandkids.
