Del Taco — Restaurant in Hesperia

I had to edit my past review: This happened about two weeks ago. As I'm being ignored trying to get someone to take my order I can hear a woman chewing out an employee, a young man, for not having prepared eggs during nightshift. His defense was that he was not able to prepare them because they did not have anymore of whatever they use to properly clean where they make the eggs and that it would be unsanitary to have prepared eggs on a dirty unsanitary station. I stopped trying to order anything when I heard her say that he should have just gone ahead and made them on the dirty, unsanitized station anyways. I'm not an expert on food safety laws but I'm pretty sure that's not allowed, what I do know is that it's DISGUSTING. The young man then argued that if he would have gone ahead and made the eggs he would not have only violated food safety but would most likely still have gotten in trouble, only now for having made the eggs on a dirty station. Kinda sad to see these types of power tripping managers threaten to write up a good employee for having done his job properly, all while they themselves look baked and smell like weed on the job. Worse is that as soon as the young man left the lady made a call to another employee to tell them that she was going to do everything she could to try and get the young man fired just because they personally don't like him or how they can't blame HIM for THEIR mistakes. That's retaliation. Great leadership Del Taco.

Horrible experience! DO NOT go to this location! Waited an hour in drive thru just to get up to speaker. Waited another 20 minutes and moved up one car. Got out of line because I had to pick up my kid from school, came back 20 minutes later and the car in front of me was barely pulling up to the window! Walked in and complained. They barely initiate my order and I wait. They put a bag in the online orders section and I look to see if it's mine. The fat rude girl with the glasses gave me lip and says, "sir, you have 7 orders in front of you!" Made me so angry after explaining I had already ordered in the drive thru and waited over an hour and STILL didn't receive my food. She starts arguing with me when I tell her that location has the worst customer service and says all sassy, "but yet you're still here." The manager then gets involved and I ask her for her GMs name and info. She doesn't give it to me! Won't even give me her full name! She tells me to get lost, she's not fulfilling my order and to get a refund on the app! Then she calls her "assistant GM" a blonde who walks in within minutes in pajamas and slippers looking high on drugs and tells me to leave or she's calling the police! I tell her for what? No one is causing a scene. I'm a paying customer and to give me my food or a refund. She tells me I'm not getting either and to leave right now! I ask for her name and she tells me Jenneca. I ask for corporates information and her GM and she tells me no. I hope the real GM or operator finds out and...

This place is usually amazing but they were not great tonight.. short staffed maybe? Got a bit of attitude when pulling thru drive thru to order.. was very short with me.. didnt ask what size meals.. didnt get order correct as asked for.. finally got up to window 20 mins later and employee was nice.. got our drinks.. and was handed a 1 bag FULL to the top with our food and even then I was thinking that's not everything, no way it fit in 1 bag.. pulled away and parked to check.. was missing 2 of my quesadilla tacos for a meal I ordered.. lobby is locked.. called the store.. lady that answered was very nice.. pulled up my order.. drive thru clerk was sure she had put them in there.. im now in my truck with food all over my lap and console explaining that I can assure u they were not given to me and they r someone's meal.. they shortly brought me out 2 tacos.. was very apologetic.. got home.. fries weren't cooked how I asked.. no sides of secret sauce like I asked for.. wrong type of tacos.. and now food is cold :( Im gonna chalk it up to a fluke because I go thru here quite often but it was not a good...
