I took my iphone in to have the housing replaced which cost $267.49. However, while repairing my phone they broke the front glass which cost $400 to replace. Ben M. did not call me to tell me about the issue. When I arrived to pick up my phone he was helping someone else, there was also another couple waiting to pick up a phone. After he handed the other couple their phone, I asked for the same. He later used me "cutting in line" as an excuse/justification be rude to me. He stated I cut in line & the other couple was just "picking up a phone." When I tried to explain I assumed I was there for the same he continued justify his behavior and be rude. If I'm being honest it should have been a red flag when the first employee (who's name I can't remember) tried to tell me it was illegal to replace the back with OEM parts.

These guys really fixed me up. I hate getting told “that phone is old” and “it’s not worth fixing”. I have a iPhone SE 1st generation. It works fine and it fits in my pocket just right. I made an appointment at Simply Mac in Asheville. After driving 75 miles to Asheville to visit “Simply Mac” and getting turned away because they didn’t have the battery, I made another appointment in Hickory at Best Buy. Same thing but I called ahead of time but was on hold the entire trip to Hickory. I wanted to check to see if they had a battery before I drove there. So I went to these guys and was done in 10 minutes. Two thumbs up.

Brought my PS5 for an HDMI repair. They had my PlayStation for 2 weeks and was told they attempted to repair it twice with no luck. They sourced their soldering guy from I don’t know where but absolute hack job from them. Brought my PS5 to Reaper Electronics and they had my out of the door under 30 mins with my port fixed and my PlayStation working. Attached is a picture of the soldering job from CPR in Hickory. Do not waste your time with a simple port repair. They also damaged others parts as they attempted to repair the hdmi port from over heating it.

ATTN: SAMSUNG device owners.... Learn from my mistake!! Do NOT go to CPR for service!!!!!

I took my Galaxy S8 to them with a muted/muffled ear speaker. They attempted to clean it (at no charge) with no luck. Determined there must in fact be an issue with the ear speaker itself. They ordered the part and told me it would be a couple of weeks. I ended up calling them 2.5 weeks later and was told they were on backorder & there would be a two month wait.

It came in shortly after the two month mark and they called me. I dropped my phone off yesterday with an ear speaker that did not work, as well as a faulty microphone jack (that I had just noticed the week prior to taking it).

Upon arriving, I was told they attempted to call me as they were working on it, however neither of the phones I gave them to reach me at showed a missed call.

I was told there was an obvious issue with the motherboard & I should call/notify Samsung. They were unable to fix it, and I would not be charged.

After leaving, I realized my phone was in WORSE CONDITION than when I took it. It now has NO sound/voice capabilities AT ALL. The loud speaker and microphone were absolutely fine when I took it. They now do not work.

I called Samsung, who told me my options were to see a Licensed Samsung Tech @ uBreakiFix in Huntersville/Charlotte, or mail it in.

I took it to Huntersville (Samsung owners... GO THERE!!!!).

Through the diagnostics they performed, they found (and showed me) that the loud speaker board...? had been BENT (probably while CPR was prying it open/out)...which is why it had went out. They replaced that part temporarily while I was there just to show me that this is what happened.

They also confirmed that it was a motherboard issue.... however, because of taking it to CPR first... nothing could be done 😕😕

The techs at CPR otherwise seemed great--I just really wish they would have pointed me in the direction of a licensed SAMSUNG technician.

So...

I took my iPhone 14 pro to these guys back in June 2025 to have the screen and housing replaced. Mind you that I paid close to $600 to do so and trusted them with my repairs. When I picked up the phone a week later everything appeared to be working. 2 weeks later I had to call them because the screen completely blacked out. They advised me to bring it in and have it looked at. At that time the screen had to be replaced (again) a month later I call them again to let them know that the screen wouldn't shut off unless the phone died. Once again, they informed me that they would be ordering a new housing for the phone and would text me once the parts had come in. I waited 3 weeks and didn't hear anything from anyone, so I called them on my day off September 2025, I was informed that the part had indeed come in. I took the phone in to be repaired, at that time the guy working looked at the phone and said that it was damaged and not under warranty any longer. Theres no signs of damage to the phone at all. He claims that because there was a small spot of rainbow reflectent between the cameras that the screen had been pressed on too hard. Long story short I have now gone out of my way to take my phone to a different one of their locations and was told that my phone is indeed not damaged and it will still be covered under warranty and the guys there will take care of this situation. Ol nasty rotten tooth dude in Hickory, I will NEVER do business with you again! I have contacted corporate office and made this matter known. The screen stopped working twice in 3 months since these guys put their...

I took my tablet to these guys to have my screen replaced on a mini 4 iPad. I was told it would take a couple of days to fix. Told them no problem. I got a text from them the next day stating my tablet was ready to pick up. I get my tablet I realized when I get it home that it’s not sitting flush on the table nor is the screen they put on affixed properly to the tablet. I noticed my frame was also bent as well. I called CPR and told them about the screen issue. I was told to bring it in because something wasn’t right. Took it back to them and let them see it and I told them about the bend in my frame and the tool marks left on the sides of my mini 4. I was told it was from them taking my old screen off and putting the new on. The bend on the other hand he said it was like that when I bought it in to them. I reassured him that it wasn’t like that when brought to them why is it like that now. He just kept saying it was already like that. Poor customer service from this guy I was dealing with. He didn’t bother to look at the screen that he replaced that wasn’t sticking on two sides of my tablet. He just gave me my tablet walked away. I’m disappointed in this company and the way that he handle my tablet and the situation. No refund. My tablet was damaged even further by them not taking the time and care to fix it properly. I paid $ 165.00 for what..more damages and all I needed was a new screen but even that isn’t working either. I won’t return to this company...
