I'm not tryna be a Karen, but if you really want to eat at Panera, don't plan on going to this location, I'd advise you to take your service elsewhere. This location does not know about customer service and having good manners. We ordered curbside pickup and it stated that it would be ready by 1:01 PM. We arrived at 1:15 and the app stated that our food was ready. So, as curbside pickup is described, we waited for our order to be brought to us; 20 minutes go by and no one has came out with our food. So we went inside to see what the delay is, they asked for the name of the order and the worker just stated "oh" and left without any other information upon our order; while the manager was standing there not giving a care about their customers concerns. Not only was that the problem, but before we could even stated what they could help us with when we went inside, the girl cut us off and didn't even let us finish our sentence. They then stated that they gave our order to someone else, having us wait an hour total since we arrived at that location. Either get new management, hire new workers, retrain your workers or advise in the app curbside pickup is not available because you are short-staffed. I've been in customer service before and I know people have hard times, but don't be showing it out to your customers. Like they say, leave all personal business outside the door. I said...
Read moreTHEY DON'T ACCEPT $100 BILLS?!? You can take your family there and they will charge you $75 for your wife and three kids, but they still won't accept a $100 bill. A big franchise store that charges $15 a person for lunch does not have the infrastructure to accept a very common form of US currency?
So be warned! If you plan on paying cash for just yourself or a party of 7 for lunch, you better make sure you go get change first.
BTW, that $15 got me a bread CUP of soup (their entire bread "bowl" would literally fit inside the bread bowl at Hickory Bread Cafe at Atlanta Bread's old location) and a frozen Caesar salad. I'm not exaggerating, the lettuce was frozen with ice on it.
They lady at the counter may have waited on some of my fellow 1 star reviewers cuz that woman was ready for me to complain! She was over it as soon as she pointed out the piece of paper taped to the counter informing me of their policy. And yeah it was posted on the counter under our cups and pastry boxes, not at the front door or anywhere near the menu where all of us were looking as we ordered.
I feel like this place pretentiously expects you to deal with bad service because they have a famous name on the building. We will be going to Hickory Bread Cafe from now on, and I'll be taking my hundred dollar...
Read moreI ordered a catering order about a week in advance for 11/12, the morning of my wedding. We were staying in a hotel, so I knew I would need plates, utensils, etc which I knew would come with the catering order. I sent my dad to pick it up because us girls were all getting ready. I didn’t think to tell him all that I ordered because I figured they would give him a receipt and he would check it over. When he arrived back at my room with just one handle bag full of stuff I knew immediately it was incorrect. Firstly, I was missing specific bagels I had ordered. All of the bagels were just thrown into a plastic bag rather than in a catering tray for serving. We received no utensils including knives for the cream cheese, serving spoons for the fruit, tongs for the bagels. No plates and no forks. We also were not given our coffee tote and the cups and the fixings for the coffee either. I was stressed out enough as it was clearly, so I sent both my parents back to make it right. The girl there said that the catering coordinator decided to just “not come in today” which is why it was in the state that it was. This is no excuse. I worked for Panera myself for 12 years, my fiancé and I met at Panera and that is why I chose Panera for our catered breakfast the morning of my wedding and it...
