Dillard's Clearance Center — Attraction in High Point

Really disappointed in management here. My friends and I were shopping and trying on clothes and the fitting room has a clear policy of 10 items max. No problem - totally understand that. We followed the rules and came out and back in as needed (I had 12 items to try on). Tried my 10 on, came completely out of the fitting room, made sure no one else was in line, and went back in with 2 additional items. As I was getting ready to head to the checkout, I was completely chastised by a manager at the store (not the fitting room attendant) that I had violated a policy, which I went out of my way to try to adhere to. Being publicly spoken down to in the tone he used was honestly embarrassing and inappropriate. The manager raised his voice and made me feel like I was a child who was being sent to time out. We followed all requests from the fitting room attendant and did not argue with her rules. I’m really unsettled that she felt the need to “tattle” and that her manager spoke to us in that way. There is a manager named Wendell who apparently likes to tell customers that he won’t sell anything to them and they need to leave and never come back.. so my wife and kids went to shop at this location where they have been shopping multiple times and have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars over the years at this locations but for some reason this last Saturday the manager was very rude for no obvious reason and told my family to leave the store and never come back he also told them he won’t sell them any of his products like he ownes the place and it’s his personal stuff we wanted to complain to his manager but he was being very aggressive and did not give his managers info .. if his manager is seeing this I would want you to take some action against this guy .. you have lost some loyal customers over a rude manager who is not worried about the stores reputation and especially not about customer care I don’t know where you find idiots like this...

This particular Dillard's was awful. Everything was out of place. I kept finding the wrong sizes out of place in the women's dresses alone. Not to mention the shoes. I was there looking for a dress with my.mom for my grandmother to be buried in. We tried to get help 3 times, and one lady who was the fitting room attendant just walked away from me in the middle of asking if the dress may have gone into the dressing room. At checkout, my mom made a polite comment about the disorganization and lack of assistance, and the cashier blew her off too. It was just so stressful, especially with my mom losing her mom and how insensitive the staff was. I would.not go back and I wouldn't recommend anyone visit unless they are desperate, have a lot.of free time to look through the racks, and not looking for something specific, because you won't...
