This review is for the TRAIL not Mount Rushmore.

The parking area for the trail is blocked, so you have to pay to park ($10 as of June 2025.) The hike is what our family would consider moderate. It is a horse trail so be prepared for horse poop 🤣 Don't forget the bug spray for this hike...

On the official site it said it was free and when we arrived it was $10 or $50 for a ticket to see it. Ridiculous especially for a rock. It’s cool but it should be free especially when it says...
