Gold Park is one of those one never forgets. The environmental atmosphere of everything and everyone is just beautiful..As a mom of 4,I spend quite alot of time here and my children range in ages 14 to 5! So the fact I can say ALL 4 are never bored here,is super cool..Huge fields for soccer, baseball football ectra,2 dog parks for our furry friends, picnic tables for b-day parties, chilling in the shade and such, swings slides and fun things throughout but MY fav? The trails!!!! Perfect for exercising(I walk)or simple sight seeing as birds and cool findings are all throughout the trails.I see alot of people walking throughout the day no matter the time I go and everyone seems to have a smile on their face as I pass..I no longer live in that area, however as I said earlier,it will always be one to remember so we often go back as much as possible while in that area.Highly recommend to any and everyone of all...
Read moreVery nice park for kids. Swings, slides, rockwalls, monkey bars, musical toys and more. Paved walkways and playground equipment for little and big kids. Public bathroom, picnic tables and shelters. Trash and recycling bins. All well maintained. Update: Still loving this park! My kids and I have explored quite a bit now. Eno River basically runs all around and through parts of the park. There's beautiful paved trails and bridges to walk over. There's a beautiful covered wood path that runs right next to the river. The train goes right by the park and there's awesome views when it goes by, which is often. There's a community garden and bee motel and a small bamboo forest with little trails. There's a public book box, a separate fenced dog park and a soccer field. Great place to do sidewalk chalk, bicycles and scooters etc. for people like us that don't have a paved driveway or road nearby....

Nice park with a playground, soccer and baseball field, dog bark, a few shelters, and well maintained bathrooms. Parking lot is huge. There are paved walking trails surrounding the park, some educational signage, and the Pollinator Garden and Bee Hotel.

Just beyond the garden it becomes a roofed boardwalk for a bit until it continues out of the park. Gold Park is a great place to park your car to access Riverwalk. I typically park here, walk the entire trail, and then walk back. No issues.
Added mention that the Riverwalk is part of the...
