I have been here multiple times and it is absolutely life changing. Beth is an amazing energy healer and I left feeling happy and at peace, effects which lasted a long time. Accessible in price too. Highly recommend.

My husband and I are on a scouting trip for a new home (we're from Chicago). Our realtor suggested that we check out Hillsboro and while walking in the quaint historic side I saw the Cedar Walk Wellness Center. It's centrally located and offers a variety of wellness options from massage to energy work to acupuncture to counseling. Massage is an important component of body health for me, and finding a great therapist, whose style and personality matches mine can take some time, so I figured I'd get a head start on the search (just in case!)

Later I went on line and read a couple of reviews and saw amazing things about Rendon. I took a chance and surprisingly was able to schedule a massage the next day. There was a slight scheduling snafu but Rendon not only called and emailed, but we easily found a new time and it gave me a chance to experience the great customer service that I was about to receive.

Once I booked, I was sent an email and some information to fill out which took only a couple of minutes.

On the day of, I arrived 5 minutes early. Rendon was waiting for me on the front porch and immediately took me in. Cedar Walk is a gorgeous and cozy place! Hard wood floors, welcoming rugs, large rooms and lots of light (but privacy as well). We discussed how I was feeling, if there were any areas to focus on, etc.

MASSAGE TIME!!! Rendon checked in on pressure and how things were felling a couple of times with genuine care and concern. She did some techniques that I had not had done in the past (and I've been getting massages for 30+ years) - but were very effective. She spent extra time focusing in on my area of discomfort (my knee) and her expert fingers found the knots and soothed them.

Rendon mentioned she'd check in the next day to see if I had any questions or soreness and she absolutely did (which was a first for me - to have someone check on me). I was expecting to have the full body 'hangover' from the massage as I usually do, but I only had a tiny bit of soreness and not even in my knee where we spent a lot of time!

BOTTOM LINE: Great location, great space, great customer service and great massage! If you are looking for relaxation or relief, go and see Rendon (just be sure you leave some time for me to see...

I had treated myself to the occasional massage over the years, but earlier this year I decided I wanted to explore the benefits of having sessions on a regular basis. I mentioned this to a friend who recommended Elizabeth at Cedar Walk Wellness Center.

I have been getting massages from her every 2-3 weeks for several months now, and each session seems better than the one before. The experience is always deeply, deeply relaxing, and quiets the mind.

Although I told her during the initial intake that there were no particular physical problems I was aware of that needed special attention, I had been living with a loss of range of motion in my right arm at a sub-awareness level for some months. I actually didn't remember to mention it, since it only hurt in passing when I attempted certain movements. During our first session, however, she was able to isolate and identify the discomfort as a minor strain or injury to one of the rotator cuff muscles (I had no idea).

She did focused work on the affected area each session thereafter, and in the intervening weeks my arm has been restored to a full range of motion.

Can't say enough good things...

Coach Chris Walker is now giving the most incredible massages at the Cedar Walk Wellness Center. After my wife recently had a massage by Chris she told me that I needed to do the same, that the experience was wonderful and the best massage she’s ever had. At first I wasn’t sure — I hadn’t had a massage for a decade or longer — but after thinking about a few “uncomfortable” areas my body has developed, I finally booked an appointment with Chris for earlier this week. I told him about the few “aches” I have and as he worked on them I had a real sense of release and relief. As he continued, he worked on one of my hands and before he moved to my other hand I squeezed each hand shut and open several times — and Wow, I could tell the difference in my “before" and “after" hands! The overall experience was so soothing and relaxing that at times I honestly felt like I was going to float to the ceiling. To top things off, if you know “Coach,” you know that he has one of the most pleasant, caring and joyful personalities of anyone you’ve ever met. If you’ve never met...
