Disney's Beach House — Attraction in Hilton Head Island

Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort and the Beach House is the absolute friendliest place to stay. This visit we met Cast Member Donna at the beach house and very much enjoyed talking to her and learning about the area. We also ran into her on the beach when she was off work and she remembered us from earlier. Anyone who meets Cast Member Mike will never forget him. He learns things about his guests and remembers it for the week and will follow up. Made dinner recommendations that turned out to be our best meal for the week. Cast Member Ella went out of her way to make sure that everything was always clean and she was very friendly. Another cast member went out of her way to get us beverages when nothing was open yet. Access is restricted to guests staying at Disney's Hilton Head Resort. There's a pool, Signals walk-up meal service, private beach walkway, and Surfmen's Station (air conditioned space with tables and chairs, fireplace, TV, and memorabilia from beach life-saving days). Nice selection of pool-side foods and beverages. There's a walk-up pool bar, an arcade, and an outside pool table. Life jackets are available for use in the pool or sea. Parking is available under the building and in the front lot. There's also a complimentary shuttle bus to/from the resort that runs approximately every 15 minutes. Disney cast members are always available to meet everyone's needs. Did I mention they have Dole Whips? Fun in the sun...

Disney's Beach House is just another perk for staying at their DVC resort. Love this cozy little pool, the bar, and the quick serve restaurant. Be sure to get your mug for free refills for your entire stay! The access to the beach is great, and I love that you can easily clean the sand off at the outdoor showers or in the pool. As always Disney facilities are clean and pleasant. They have plenty of towels for anyone who needs them.

The parking is also plentiful, but you can also take a shuttle from the lodge. The driver of the last shuttle came to check on us before she left to make sure we didn't need a ride. (We drove.) As always, the Disney people are thoughtful...
