Diamond Bridal — Attraction in Hollidaysburg

So over the past year or so I have worked with diamond bridal for our wedding (my wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses and suits for the men). Working with Angela, the manager, has been fabulous! She is always super helpful, attentive and willing to go above and beyond to keep her brides sane and calm. My wedding dress shopping and dress itself were beyond perfect and breathtaking thanks to these ladies. Being a plus side bride I was self conscious and worried that there wouldn't be anything that I could try on but low and behold they had an amazing collection that made me feel like the most beautiful woman ever! After this experience there was some definite turmoils... Our bridesmaid dresses did not come in until five or so weeks before the wedding (despite them being ordered five months prior). Yes COVID definitely played a role in this but was still a major mental concern of mine. The suits that the men ordered... 50% of them came in in the wrong size and then the day of the wedding it was noted that one of the groomsmen had the wrong colored vest so we had to scrap all the vests for the men to be more cohesive. The dress shop was extremely upset that this had happened and apologized profusely (they outsource the suits) but still these things made it not an "ideal" experience totally with them. I tried on dresses at several boutiques in Pittsburgh, but found my dream dress at Diamond Bridal! Angela was the best sales associate I worked with out of every place I visited. She asked questions about how a certain dress made me feel to bring out my emotions to help me make the right decision. She offered insightful advice and opinions without steering me one way or another, letting me make my own choice. Once I picked my dress, I came back at a later date to try to it on and she helped me choose a hairstyle, accessories, and alterations I might want to make. I still can't get over the dress itself. It was the exact opposite of what I thought I wanted (They say that always happens, right?), but looking at the dress in my pictures still makes me emotional. My dress was truly one of the highlights of the entire wedding. The aesthetic and the vibe of my whole day would not have been the same without the dress. It was a "WOW" dress that made me feel like a princess in a fairytale. I would make the same choice over and over again. Thanks...

I actually said yes to a dress :) AND I surprisingly had many options!

I have stopped in several bridal shops in the area and had gone as far as Greensburg to look at dresses. I had the same experience with them all..... A) Very little to choose from (if any) because I am a plus size chickie. B) Blah atmosphere... sure there are bright lights that make everything sparkle, but some places I walked into didn't have music. Some of them, the girls never once cracked a smile. Definitely makes what is supposed to be a happy/exciting experience kinda awkward.
