Absolutely the worst experience ever! Sales people unprofessional and only concerned with up selling. Was talked out of buying an iPhone. Bought the Samsung note9 which was defective. Ended up makingx8 trips back to the store : Trip 1ordered phone; Trip 2 picked up phone;Trip 3 glass protector that they installed came off day 2 and was charged for another one. Verizon issued duplicate # to the tablet that I was talked into as another customers Hum whose receipt I received on my Verizon web page. Trip 4 which I was told “not worry about”. Trip 5 the Samsung started malfunctioning and giving me error codes that my connection was not private and that my information was at risk. I wanted to return the phone but they did a factory reset and said it would be fine. It was not. Trip 6 returned next day to return defective phone. Took 3 hrs to get an iPhone. But was told I couldn’t return the case or get. Reimbursed for the glass protection or and wass unable to return the tablet because the person that did the original transaction wasn’t in . Trip 7 ..2 days later to return the “free” tablet to which I was told I could but they would charge me $35 restocking fee and couldn’t get the $40 activation fee back plus my bill would go up $15 / month. So now I have an android based tablet and an iPhone. Along with the $70 in glass screen protection for a defective phone I no longer have. Buyer beware. Truely the worst most frustrating...
Read moreFind another Verizon store to go to. I pre-ordered my iPhone 16 pro max through these guys and after being bugged for 20 different services they added $40 worth of add-ons I didn't ask for.
On the day the phone arrived, I was charged another $120 for a "Ready?Go!" package and the activation fee wasn't even apart of the charges. I asked to see the receipt prior to finishing my transaction and Jennifer only showed me the monthly breakdown. I denied all extra services and "Free accessories" a second time. I had brought my own screen protector and case in and she proceeds to break the screen protector trying to put it on improperly
The day after purchasing the phone and returning to the store to discuss the unnecessary charges, I spoke with Brittany and she refused to help and said I had to wait until Jennifer came back. Lame cop out answer.
Everything they said they "couldn't help me with" or "had to be included" was removed or refunded by a Verizon online rep within minutes, they are clearly incentivized to engage in scummy business tactics to boost their stats. Since the process in switching phones was already started, it's kind of difficult for customers to dodge
Avoid this authorized dealer and go to an official Verizon store, and if you have purchased a new phone or started a new plan from this store, go on the website and check the breakdown...
Read moreVerizon’s customer service and employees have been the reason I have stuck with it for so long.
Dan at the Hollidaysburg location on Blair Street was one of the most patient, knowledgeable, and helpful employees I have ever come across. He is the epitome of customer service.
He didn’t just help me with me new phone; he built a relationship with me that will keep me coming back for all my cell phone and cell service concerns.
I kept him busy for about the two or three hours, as I went back and forth, unable to make a decision on what phone I wanted for my upgrade. Not once did he seem annoyed (though most people would have been annoyed with me), and not once did he push or rush me to buy anything. He continued to understand the importance of being thoughtful in my decision of the big purchase and kept answering all the questions I had (and there were many!).
Thank you, Dan! You were a kind soul...
