Rodeo Thrift — Attraction in Hollins

One of the best thrift stores in southwest VA. I visit antique shops and thrift stores often for the thrill of the hunt, and this place consistently has new items out and it’s priced really really well. Obviously you’re not going to find a coach purse for $10, but I’ve found some high quality items here for an absolute deal. The staff have been super friendly, even with my kids wanting to touch everything.

I stopped shopping at Goodwill once this store opened because Goodwill keeps upping their prices for used clothes that might or might night be in terrible condition. I’ve found high quality vintage dresses, shoes, and genuine leather bags. 10/10...

Used to be much better. Prices have increased. It’s much more like a consignment shop overall, and I prefer Buy The Season if I want that experience. I assume this business will blame inflation for the increase in prices. Somehow in 2025 I’m still able to get the best food in all of Roanoke for under $10 (shoutout Viet Sub) and they have ingredient and labor costs. Curious why a store run by volunteers and donations needed to increase prices THAT much. I’d guess it’s made business worse overall but maybe it’s...

This is a little hidden gem full of things to find! They have lots of home items and an entire separate room full of handmade items to support local/charity. Decent prices and when I shopped this past weekend there was a color sale going on. Fun to pick through things although when checking out the kiosk asked for tips which I thought was a bit weird. Maybe if they worded the question about tips benefiting their charity it would...
