I went to Pearl Bridal after having a very negative try-on experience in Enfield, and felt immediately safe and comfortable upon arrival. It was a complete 180 from the other store I went to. I showed Ryan photos of the dresses I had liked at Anthropologie, and she pulled a few similar to them. Then she picked a few in different styles that were more flattering on me, and I loved each and every one she pulled. As she continued to pull dresses (I tried on probably 6-8?), I felt like we were getting closer and closer to my perfect dress. As soon as I put on my dress I knew, and I was lucky and barely had to alter it! I honestly felt so beautiful in all of the dresses I put on, I have never had such a positive shopping experience. The store was clean, beautiful, every dress was breathtaking, and I bought the most stunning earrings as well. The dresses were reasonably priced, and when I went in for one of my fittings I noticed a massive sale rack with the most beautiful dresses for less than $2,000! I have recommended this store to all of my friends who are getting married. I am so grateful we went to Pearl Bridal. I also LOVED my tailor, and had the best conversations with him both times I came in. I am in love with my wedding dress, it is beyond what I could have imagined. I have so much gratitude for this store and everyone I worked with there, thank you for everything!

As a separate side note, I loved the beautiful building that this store is in and highly recommend getting a bagel from Comfort Bagels on your way out ;)

Do not get your alterations done here. Period. And although the sales staff was very friendly and attentive, I had a horrible experience. When they measured me, they ordered a size down. When my mom questioned it, they said it was their normal business practice. When the dress came in and was CLEARLY too small, the response was ‘I don’t know what you want, I can’t add fabric.’ On top of that, they tried to convince me that I could have gone to the wedding with it how it was…even though I couldn’t breathe. They completely altered the back of the dress to try to make it fit, but it looked horrible. They removed the prettiest detail - the reason I bought the dress - and the only piece holding the front up. The individual doing the alterations was extremely condescending and kept telling me that it was my ‘perception’ of the dress that was making me question it, even when I had pictures of how the back looked on the sample dress vs the dress they altered. I should have taken it somewhere else but this was only 2 weeks out from my wedding and was in a panic - I kept expecting them to help. Absolutely would...
