I went in without an appointment. I was asked by the employee for my address. I only needed a proof of benefits printed. I gave her two pieces of id. She demanded an address. I'm homeless. She accused me of playing the veteran card. I did no such thing. She went on to say that she was a veteran and further stated that she knows my case manager and threatened to call him to sabotage my benefits. That's a confidentiality violation. I had a wonderful experience at this office. The worker helping me at the window was very kind and efficient. I made an appointment and was taken quickly. The security guard helped me with check-in when I first arrived. He was also kind and friendly. I was in and out fast. They had wipes and hand sanitizer at each window. There were only a couple of other people waiting. I was dreading having to go, but it was such a relief and won’t dread going to this office. Google doesn’t mention this office is by appointment only. Went in to change my address and processed a number and sat down and nobody called me. I was the only one waiting in the waiting area. Finally, one helpful person peeked out of a door and gave me the phone # on a slip of paper. When I tried to call it I was told to leave as no cell phones were allowed.
