Whatever you do- do not ask about the corn before they have it! I saw on a fb post this was a great place to get sweet corn. I’m not from the area so I decided to check the place out. Looked like a cute place. However as I approached and saw no produce of any kind I inquired with the owner. She practically blew her lid when I dared to ask about corn. She asked me how long have I lived here ? And haven’t I looked at the fields lately? To be fair this place is across from an apartment complex of some sorts and while there are fields depending on the direction you came from, how does she know what I have seen or how long I have lived in the area or state? Yes, it was late June. So shoot me. I was very embarrassed to have even asked but honestly I don’t think she had to be so rude about it. This is my first time writing a negative review but I saw another post stating the owner was rude to them as well and I just don’t want to support a place that thinks being like that to potential customers is okay. Hello- we are a referral source! Do better. Also I see the website now specifically states produce starts in July. That wasn’t up before. I think she was sick of people asking. When people ask on the Facebook page for this place they respond with a simple NO but if you go all the way there excited to find a new place they are...

I’m a photographer and was there to take photos of a couple in the sunflower field...and it’s beautiful. The woman who runs it, how ever was needlessly rude when we ran 5mins past closing. (We started late because she weirdly didn’t recall selling the photo fee a few mins earlier to my clients and they had to return from the field to verify me) There was one last photo my client wanted and of course I said yes...after my client paid the $50 photography fee then they made me pay for my admission on top of that including my assistant...so $60...then we are walking back and are rudely told we are banned and can’t come back as we walked through the exit at about 6:08. We’ll don’t you worry I won’t be back as your not the only place with sunflowers and do you know who couples as for location suggestions? Photographers. Will never return. Maybe try and be accommodating to those who bring...

So wildly disappointed in this place. We drove an hour to come today (Labor Day) after checking the website and calling to verify their hours. No one answered the call but the recording listed their Monday hours as open until 6 PM and there was no recording updating the hours for the holiday. Nothing on the website, either. We arrived a little before 3 PM and were told they were closed early for the holiday, when I told the employee nothing about this change was listed on the website or on their phone recording, he just shrugged and said “sorry, not my rules.” So appalled at this kind of attitude and lack of communication. Employee also did not wear mask while approaching my vehicle. Will not be making the trip...
