Creamery is an absolute gem of an ice cream parlor that deserves every bit of praise it receives. Read moreI went to the Creamery because I heard that they are serving the Original Rainbow Cone ice cream again.
I took my niece, and I noticed right when we walked in how dirty the place was. I should have walked out. The service was slow, and the staff seemed uninterested in doing their job.
An ice cream place like this should have a fun atmosphere, instead the staff was hiding in the back until one of them came up front finally. It seemed like we were an inconvenience to the guy who took our order. He was unable to make the cone like the Original Rainbow Cone. I would think this would be training 101...!
There was no "Thanks for stopping in" or "Thank you" at all. I don't know where the manager was, but clearly not cleaning anything, nor helping the staff take care of customers.
There are other locations, and I would suggest trying one of them. This place needs a good manager to run the place which clearly isn't the case at this point. I do not understand the great reviews on this place - I think the reviewers must be confusing it with another location. As for me, I will continue going to the Original Rainbow Cone as this location (Homer Glen) is not a place I would...
Read moreHi. I went to this location yesterday. When I got there I was very impressed with their outside decorations and heated domes. When I went inside I asked a worker if we can just sit inside the domes, he said yes. Then some lady comes in saying that everyone’s sitting in these domes but she paid $100 to sit in there. So I’m wondering if they were pocketing the money. Anyway, as they’re making my ice cream they bring it into the back for a concerning amount of time? Finally they bring it up to me, and my ice cream was in 2 separate containers. I didn’t complain, I just went outside and met my cousin in the dome. 5 minutes later, a worker comes up to us and kicks us out of the dome, we ask why and he says it’s $100 to reserve it. $100 to sit in a heated piece of plastic? Okay. So, we finish our ice cream inside and communicate with the worker that told us we could just sit in there and he says, actually it’s $160. There must be a lack of communication at this location. I’m extremely disappointed in their service, prices, and just my overall experience. I will not return and I will be sure to share my experience with my friends and family because this...
