If on a road trip through I-30, this is a great little stop for the mid-20th century historical birthplace home of Bill Clinton. I have been to many presidential homes, within state and national park systems, and this one is well done and an interesting somewhat more modern take on the historical home tour. You get a slice of a mid-20th century working class home that is actually quite interesting.

Read moreThe rangers here are very welcoming and friendly. It's neat to see the home President Clinton spent the first 4 years of his life. However, nothing in the home is original. Clinton's mother did help with the restoration process of telling them where furniture was and what not. There are pictures through out the home of a young Clinton. It's a quick 15-20 minute tour on every hour and half hour. There's a small visitor center with information. Be sure to check out the video of the home before the renovation was started. There's bathrooms outside and a picnic table. There's a small garden to spend a couple minutes in.

Read moreThe history and novelty of this NHS is pure, but it's not the easiest one to find. The signage around isn't as prevalent as at other sites which makes finding the parking lot more of a challenge than expected. The house and visitors center are quaint and charming. The visitor center is also an historic home. That said, I was concerned with the structural stability of the home and was nervous while on the guided tour.
