I saw this Chowtea all over the place on facebook before they have this location. There were lots of compliments and recommendations so I was so thrilled to try this newly added boba shop out. Being a bobaholic person myself, I do have high expectations. I ordered a “seasalt jasmine greentea with matcha boba” (didn’t want to be mean so I took off one star only) Honestly? there was no tea flavor at all, matcha boba tasted really bland, drink was overly sweet. Almost taste nothing but completely SUGAR . It’s like drinking water with syrup glucose despite being charged $7.71 for a drink is mediocre. What can I say? it is overrated. Will I come back? probably NOT since there are tons of other boba places around. Picture looks fire thanks to my photography skill :) 1/10 not recommended.

Bought 2 drink and 1 was spoiled. The yogurt smell so bad, had residue like it had expired, and was very slimy. The aloe vera topping was really sour and smelly, clearly spoiled. Pay 1$ for extra boba but its really hard to chew, feel like it has sitting in the fridge for a long time, the center is already staled. The rice paper rolls were over sweet, and the dipping sauce was very salty as well. First time here but I am really shocked with the quality that does not match the price . I spent more than 33$ but could only drink a few sips and then had to throw it away because it was all spoiled. Trying to support the locals but this just disappointed !

I recently visited Chow Tea, and I must say, even though I don’t usually crave sweets or enjoy milk tea, I was thoroughly impressed by their drinks. It’s clear that they prioritize quality, as the drinks were exceptional and carefully crafted. The owners and staff really pay attention to the details, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance is charming, but keep in mind that seating is limited, so it’s not the kind of place for a long, leisurely hangout. However, if you're looking for top-notch drinks, this is definitely the spot to check out!

I went here on 06/27/2024 with my family to purchased 4 drinks (1 salted cream coffee, 1 fresh milk cheese coffee w/ boba, 1 matcha latte w/ crystal boba, 1 salted coffee w/ crystal boba) and 1 snack (small square cup salted egg sponge cake).

I don’t know how much they charged until today my mom told me they charged “$42.22 Wow!!!

I called them to ask why the bill is so high, a lady whom answer the phone is really rude said “$1 extra for each drink/snack, $1 extra for fee if you pay in card” then I told them “no one told me before I pay for my order” she again said “remember that for next time, bye” and she hang up the phone on me.

Foods and drinks are good, but I will...
