Christia Adair used to be the most majestic and beautiful Park. It was filled with endless shade and glorious trees. When you walked there, you almost could walk in any direction and be under a canopy of beauty. Unfortunately, in the past month, the city has decided to completely destroy the park. It has mowed down trees and vines and everything that makes this park so incredibly beautiful. It has chopped down Endless amounts of beautiful habitat. Read moreHeld family gathering there 6-17-2023. The pavilion is huge and worth the rental. My great grandparents had 10 children and the most followed their parents foot step (as did many grands). I say ALL that to say we had ALOT of people in attendance👍🏾 the parking was ample and the park attendant was nice in removal of trash minus being intrusive…. The ages were between 81 to 5 months and from my angle under that nice shade tree - everyone was smiling SO I conclude the attendees were 🎉 Way to go Parks & Recreation...

It's like a hidden gem, because most people decide to go to Tom Bass Park which is directly across the street. This park may not be as big as Tom Bass, but it definitely has some great features. A pavilion for outdoor cookouts, tennis court, playground etc. If you're looking for peace and solitude, this is the place for you. This park closes at 9PM, but the park worker tends to kick everyone out...
