I have visited this store at least five times regarding an ongoing phone issue, which has been misdiagnosed on three separate occasions. Initially, I was quoted $76 to repair what was described as a screen issue. After picking up the phone, it shut down within two hours. I returned the device and left it with the store while I was out of town for a week. Upon returning, I retrieved the phone, which only functioned properly for three days before experiencing the same problem.
Now I’m being told, once again, that the issue is with the screen. (pretty much buying two screens) The staff member initially quoted me $60 over the phone for the repair, but once I arrived at the store, the price had increased to $75. He also mentioned that they don’t profit from these repairs, as complex issues are outsourced to a third-party repair center. This suggests the store primarily acts as a middleman, offering only basic services like screen replacements and accessories.
Unfortunately, this experience has shown a clear lack of technical expertise and transparency. I had previously written a positive review as the young guy begged me to, which I have since deleted due to repeated issues. I strongly advise others to read all reviews carefully — not just the positive ones, as I believe some may have been incentivized. I will be sharing my experience on other platforms and intend to file formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and relevant consumer...
Read morecame in for an “estimate” got a call saying my charger port was the issue. When I came back they gave me a laptop charger and claimed they had tore open my device to replace the charging port. A lie! You could easily tell they never opened it and the charger port was the original burgundy interior color as the OEM not white or black like aftermarket ports and has the same dust it had when I brought it. Instead of charging me for a charger owner lied and charged me for a repair when I got home I called for a refund and I took a closer look, he agreed and when I came in a week later he did not want to give me a refund for the “repair” and insisted said I was too late. I finally convinced him that he should charge for only the price of a charger (around $35) but didn’t have my card to receive the refund and his machine is old and does not process refunds without the physical card. When I did come back a week later he absolutely refused. I am a busy person too and his customer service is the worst I’ve seen in a couple years. If you don’t know know exactly what you need beware they will lie and deceive you to make more, in my case over double all because my charger at home was the issue all along and these guys have no chargers at the store so they had time to lie to me instead of just telling me hey you just need a charger. Nevertheless these people cannot be trusted. A company that lies on the regular is not...
Read morePhone was not charging. Took in to get chacked out. First diagnostic was $35. The guy (the younger one) took it to the back. 7-10 mins later, he comes out and tell me it's either my charging port or the battery. Then he proceeds to tell me that he's going to try a new one (charger port) and see if that's the problem. So I ask, if so how much would the new part cost. $65-$70 he says. So I tell him, I'm going to just take it back to where I purchased it, because I've only had the phone for a few months. Now here's where things get fishy. All of the sudden he brings the phone back out and says, "let me try another charger cord". Then "BAM" out of nowhere, by some miracle, it's charging.... Then I asked him, "well what did you do to fix the issue that you initially told me didn't work". He responded with, "I changed a couple connectors and some other B.S. They've done good work on a couple Ipads for me in the past. But please be careful of the unnecessary up charging for...
