E & G Amish Furniture — Attraction in Houston

A friend spoke highly of E&G Amish Furniture after purchasing several pieces, mainly expressing the quality of the furniture.

Based upon her recommendation, we went to E&G following hurricane Harvey. On our first visit, we were impressed not only by the quality of the furniture, but the store's personnel. They were not pushy and let us look at our own pace.

At that time we chose to purchase a bed/night stands and reclining love seat.

This is when the knowledge of the personnel stood out. They patiently explained the types of wood for each piece, together with the choosing of stains, hardware, and upholstery. Once again, they were not pushy. They answered all questions and provided guidance when we became overwhelmed by all of the selection choices. This is where they shined.

We have received the bed, nightstands, and loveseat. They are beautiful.

I watched the delivery team assemble the recliner loveseat, and they paid meticulous attention to ensure that everything was correct. As I watched them with the assembly, they explained how the furniture maker of this particular piece upholstered it in a matter that the mechanisms were not visible. It was then that I realized that the furniture is worth every penny.

Today we ordered additional furniture from E&G.

OUTSTANDING In a word this business is OUTSTANDING; in both customer service and selection. They have more selection than you have time to look at. When you go to E&G Amish Furniture allow plenty of time, because if you are serious about buying furniture that will last a lifetime you will have more than plenty to choose from. Katlynn, our outstanding sales associate stayed 2 hours past the time she was scheduled to get off, in order to continue helping us. She ran all over the store getting things in response to our expressed wishes or thoughts. She has this businesses inventory in her head( which when you see the acres of inventory available) is amazing in itself. Katlynn also knows what inventory they used to have and pieces that are still available. Just as important in this time of “supply chain” issues is availability! This place can actually get you the furniture you want without you having to wait 6-10 MONTHS like other places. This place also allows you to customize your furniture often at no additional cost in a lot of cases. Simply put, this place is the only place to come for Amish furniture!!! Go everywhere else first if you want to waste time; or you could come here first, and not have to go...

E&G Amish makes buying furniture an absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we walked in the store they were helpful and with zero pressure tactics! They don’t need to push their furniture because it sells itself!!! We were not sure of exactly what style table and chairs we wanted but only sure of what we didn’t want and we had the measurements we could not exceed. Then we saw the perfect table that we both loved and after sitting in countless chairs, made a choice on the chairs. We got to decide on the wood, stain and finish! And when you compare to big franchise nice furniture stores, you are not paying any more; instead you are paying for an incredible start to finish relationship with a family business who wants you to be very happy with your purchase for its lifetime which will be for generations! We couldn’t be more pleased and just wish we’d found E&G Amish long ago!!!
