Hu Tiu Mi S45 — Restaurant in Houston

I moved to Houston from San Diego and have been underwhelmed by the pho in this city. For the untrained pallette, most pho joints are delicious but for someone who grew up in a Vietnamese household, you can tell when corners are cut and the broth is just a little salt, a little flavoring, water and boom! Let me tell y'all that when I say the pho here is DELICIOUS it really is!! Go with the oxtail pho omg. It tastes like my grandma made it, the broth is not plain looking. They use actual meat and bones to make their broth! Their fresh sugar cane is amazing, the cup is huge and omg the fresh coconut after a night of drinking lmao (yes, writing this with a hangover). Just come try this place. It's SO GOOD!!! And the owner, she's is super cool. We had a conversation and she's super down to earth. Hope this helps anyone looking...

NEVER COME BACK AGAIN I’m so disappointed with the unprofessional service of the owner who is also the cashier. I ordered a sugar cane juice and Vietnamese rice paper salad. She showed her unhappy face when I was asking about their price. Then she THREW my credit card on the table. Such a very unprofessional and unacceptable service! The food is not worthy to try. They overcharge customers for their cheap food. You can try and hate it, but I would not recommend this place at all. NEVER...

The food was delicious. I’m not sure why people have been giving them negative reviews, because our entire meal was very tasty. This is a great place to go to if your taste buds are just itching for an authentic Vietnamese dish. We got the Sweet and Sour Soup, Clay Pot with Catfish, Stir-fry Egg Noodles, and Clear/Chewy Noodles in soup. Everything arrived in a timely manner and came out fresh and steamy.
