I moved to Houston from San Diego and have been underwhelmed by the pho in this city. For the untrained pallette, most pho joints are delicious but for someone who grew up in a Vietnamese household, you can tell when corners are cut and the broth is just a little salt, a little flavoring, water and boom! Let me tell y'all that when I say the pho here is DELICIOUS it really is!! Go with the oxtail pho omg. It tastes like my grandma made it, the broth is not plain looking. They use actual meat and bones to make their broth! Their fresh sugar cane is amazing, the cup is huge and omg the fresh coconut after a night of drinking lmao (yes, writing this with a hangover). This is a great place to go to if your taste buds are just itching for an authentic Vietnamese dish.
