Great store, however Some employees could use a class in customer service when dealing with non Hispanic customers. I've experienced this multiple times with older women at this location. **Update** 2/3/19 10:15am Cashier Lisa D Today I go into my local HEB grocery to purchase groceries and had the most disrespect customer service experience I've ever had at a business. I'll begin at the frozen food section where I saw snicker icecream bars on sale and decided to purchase some, the only issue is that the sign said a coupon was required, but no coupons were available after a brief but through search so to expedite things more quickly once I get to the register I made a decision to take a photo. I then proceeded to the checkout where I waited about five plus minutes because the cashier had to go out into the store to search for a price. She returned and my checkout experience began. She rung up my items and I then showed her the image in my smartphone of the sign that was posted. She then began to tell me I cant do that and that it was illegal for me to take any pictures In the store, I then explained it was only to be helpful and to speed the process,in a very loud and rude tone she repeated the previous statement and added that they dont honor photos and in her ignorant explanation that I need to abide by store policies or shop somewhere else. I then told her that I was the customer and didn't Appreciate her tone and that I suggest if the store has a specific policy she has an issue with customers following then prehaps she should recommend the store post the policy in customer view, she replied were not gonna do that for you, I told her I dont think you comprehend I'm the customer and demanded to speak to management- she obliged. The manager came over and identified himself, I explained the issue and he with no malice told her what to do, apologized and continued with his previous task. I then proceeded to pay and the cashier (with a sly facial expression and tone) says to me "So you work for the City of etc etc huh" referring to my work shirt I was wearing giving the impression that she didn't Appreciate me talking to management and was going to return the gesture. I then asked her what she meant by that since my shirt obviously stated the information she inquired about- I then followed up that statement with my understanding of her threat. She then replied that she was just saying and smirked- I asked for management again and she became irate and a scene ensued. Management came again, I expressed the disrespect I felt as well as the events that followed once he walked away and he completed my checkout. Now this is the third situation I've experienced at the store that I've had to seek management for and all of these situations have either been with an Hispanic or in this case caucasian female who felt it was okay to mistreat me as a customer but give the upmost respect to those of their same race. Considering how hospitable she was to the caucasian man she checked out before myself I cant help but wonder if my skin tone played a part in how this lady justified my mistreatment as a customer. In the first incident the Hispanic HEB worker purposely passed out samples after I waited in line to all the Hispanic people around me. I waited and asked her for one she then said they were all gone and walked out the store, I walked away and observed from a distance, she then returned and only served sample to Hispanic customers- management was requested, I suggested he speak with his employees about equal treatment amongst the customers, he apologized and proceeded to checkout. This HEB location is the closest within 10 miles of my residence and I personally dont feel I need to go out my way to accommodate poor customer service. Something needs to be done because this last experience needs to be the last experience any customer needs to have of this magnitude. Mistreatment at this level is not appreciated nor should it be tolerated H-E-B 3111 Woodridge, Houston, Texas,77087

It was refreshing to go here at night, and be able to shop without all of the hustle and bustle and distractions I usually deal with at other locations. There is plenty of room to move around and find what you need. There are also always enough registers open. They never run out of shopping carts, although this is a popular location, in my opinion. This HEB has a wide variety of selections and deals on many different food and non-food products. Some of these items, you may never have seen anywhere else. They are also always well-stocked. If it is low in the afternoon, you will definitely be able to find more by the evening. Also, there is an abundance of parking spaces. With multiple entrances, it always works out.

Now I have always loved getting my cakes from here, HOWEVER the one I received today for my babies birthday was disappointing. The green things look like stick figures hugging and the lady couldn't even tell me what they were supposed to be. They're supposed to be music notes which I had to search the cake binder to find out. Then I was disappointed that there was writing on a gold banner and not on the cake. The lady told me she could do it which I declined because it should've been done like that at first and I would have to wait for her to scrape the cake and all that meanwhile I have a party to set up. This was the last thing on my list...

The reviews below about how terrible this location is, are 100% accurate. I live right across the street from this HEB location, i have now for 2 years and it is truly a burden to shop here. The parking and traffic to get in are terrible. The store itself is in deplorable condition, ESPECIALLY the bathrooms. The bathrooms are so broken down and gross. The lines here are always long and its always so crowded. They carry the bare minimum of products. For example You cant come here and buy kashi granola bars or anything organic or anything special. Very poor selection of all products. They dont even have the individual bags of the chips ahoy or crackers to put in the kids lunch. This store is also in a high crime area, and just 1 month ago an elderly womens purse was snatched from her in broad daylight in front of many witnesses. Thieves frequent this store, people are always stealing here. This is also the same location that you may have seen on the news where an old woman purposley ran her car through the front of the store and killed someone. The kinds of people that shop here are ones that are involved in crime, and alot of rude people with no morals. Its a totally different culture here in this area and i dont mean that in a good way. I only shop here if i really have to and i never come here at night. I dont know how to say this nicely but its a very ghetto store, very raggedy and so are the people who shop here. I also had a red box dvd in my shopping basket 4 days ago and someone stole it from my basket while i was shopping at some point when i wasnt looking. So like i said people are just waiting...

My husband works for this company, myself I love shopping at Heb I like the reasonable prices but not until I find out what type of managers really hold at this "so call family friendly" place. There is an overnight manager name Tony would constanly mess with my husband about his work and he has not ever had this problem only with this guy here. I know my husband didn't want me to make a big deal but as his wife I am because not only is he cutting his work hours he is messing with our family's money instead of helping us he just doesn't give a damn I personally think. I can not work much do to medical reasons, my husband has complain about him but nothing much was done like what the heck he gets payed $12hr and they have him work one day then the next week no days of work what type of crap is that it is bull they mess with his hours and I sure and hell know there is plenty to give out. Howard Edward butt company is supposed to be helpful place that works with their employees and everything but with people like this tony guy no..... Thank you to the lord he has provided my beloved husband with a great job and works 6 days a week with understanding people and good manager, since I am not able to work. I am just upset at this company for not working with a good employee because of this manager Tony . people like that really give good known companies a bad name an as customer also makes me think how they really treat people that are outsiders instead of being united as one in a company it is more different than that with this pacific place...
